CHAPTER 49: THE ENCOUNTER (3)

“Sigh…”

Inside the whirlwind, Lekas is a bit annoyed. Silphanie and Seraphin have fainted, Viviane is looking at him with white eyes, like a ghost of some sort. And the girl’s clothes are shredded a bit, revealing skin here and there. Even though they were protected by Lekas’s spirit barrier, they still fell unconscious upon the manifestation that is now in front of them. It is proof of how weak Lekas’s spirit is right now.

The berserk mode is not really a power or anything, it is pretty much just a person going insane, it can happen to anybody but for the hero, it has more power. Lekas is trying his best to hold both girls with his sole arm when Viviane’s mouth opens.

“So, you are still alive, Lekas?”

That voice, Lekas feels his bones trembling. The hatred deep inside his being reappeared like a snake bringing his head out of a hole, ready to strike.

“CALD’H. What are you doing here?”
