David Bowie

David Bowie was popular in the 70s, 80s, and 90s (I think I wasn't born yet so don't @ me) he is especially known for is songs "Space Oddity", "Fame", "Heroes" etc. David Bowie's music was soft and slow, sometimes loud and uplifting. He had a rich soothing voice, and charming personality. He had many albums, but his best known were "Heroes', "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust", "Hunky Dory", "Scary Monsters", etc. he also did a collaboration with the rock band "Queen" in "Under Pressure" and Mick Jagger in "Dancing in the Street".

During the "Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust" Bowie had created Ziggy as a fictional character who was a "Rock and Roller" he portrayed this character by wearing colorful clothing, and dying his hair red.

Though David Bowie was loved and admired by many, like every other human he struggled. Often with drug abuse, in the 70's his diet was mostly just milk, red peppers, and (unnamed substance) . Sadly on January 10, 2016 David Bowie or "Starman" a nickname he gained by the song "Starman" in his album "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust" died of liver cancer and returned to the stars.
