Mushoku Tensei: A Beast Girl's New Journey

"I'm really tired" I exhaustedly said upon arriving home.

The reason for the exhaustion was because of the anime convention I visited recently.

In that event, there were a lot of people wearing their anime cosplays. I even got to wear my favorite cosplay of Ceobe from Arknights.

However, the best of that event is that I actually won first place for best cosplay of the year, which made me happy.

In fact, I was so happy of my achievement that I decided to not take off the cosplay and go straight to bed for a quick nap.

Actually, scratch that. I took off the weapon props and clothes of my cosplay, and kept the dog ears and wig instead.

After taking off my cosplay, I wore a tank top and shorts.

Finally, I lie down on my warm and soft bed, close my eyes and went to sleep.

However, after several minutes of sleeping, I suddenly felt a sharp pain on my abdomen.

'Hrrgh, what the hell?! It hurts so bad. Did I forget to take off a prop?'

The pain I am currently feeling is so excruciating that it is hard to breath.

I tried to get up from the bed, but my body is not responding. Not only that, the warm and soft feeling on my back slowly turned into a hard and damp surface.

'What the hell is going on?' I thought to myself as confusion and fear surges in my mind.

*clank*

Then suddenly I heard the sound of metal clanking and door opening on the distance.

'Who goes there?' I asked but I couldn't voice out my complaints.

After hearing the metal sound, a bunch of growling noises beside me and the voice of a young boy can be heard. It sounds like he is speaking in a different language that I don't know.

Eventually, the growling stops and the sound of footsteps approaching my direction.

Then a warm hand was placed on my chest and a refreshing feeling suddenly surges throughout my body.

*Gasp*

I immediately gasp for air and open my eyes to see what the hell is going on.

Unfortunately, I am no longer in my precious bedroom. Rather, I am in a dark and damp prison cell along with five girls with animal ears and a boy with brown hair and green eyes.

"Where am I? Who are you people?" I asked the people in the room.

The five animal girls were confused but the boy was surprised by my question.

"Are you a Japanese person?" the boy asked.

"Of course, I am. Now, explain what happened to me" I demanded anxiously.

"Well, you see. You are a beast person now"

"A beast what?!" I was shocked by the boy's answer that I quickly check myself.

It seems that my human ears were nowhere to found, and my cosplay wig and ears became permanently fused to my head. Not only that, I also have a fluffy dog tail on my butt as well.

"EHHHHH?!"

After being bewildered by the fact I have become a real-life dog girl, a sound of something can be heard from outside the prison cell.

*Tap* *Tap*

It is the sound of heavy footsteps approaching closer. Then my nose picks up the scent of a male person that is full vigor and determination.

Eventually, person showed himself to us.

It is a bald man with pale skin, tribal clothes, a red gem on his forehead and a spear on his hand.

"Psst, dude. Who is that guy?" I whispered at the boy, asking who is that person standing on the distance.

"That's Ruijerd, my friend"

"Ah, I see"

The spearman named Ruijerd said something to the boy and was surprised when he looks at me.

He approaches me and scrutinized my body. That is until I realized that I am naked and a cloth was the only thing that is covering me.

After the spearman finished inspecting me, he turns his attention back to the boy and exits the cell. The boy then spoke to the five animal girls and he looks at me.

"It is time to leave... Urm, what is your name?" the boy prompts me to leave the cell, as well as asking for my name.

I don't know if I can trust this boy yet, so I will not going tell my real name. Instead, I will tell him a name I am familiar about.

"Well, for now, call me Ceobe. What's yours?"

" My name is Rudeus. Let's leave this place"

"Okay then"

I complied to Rudeus invitation to leave and followed him and the spearman, along with the five beast girls beside me.

We traverse the long hallways filled with dead peoples until we reached a staircase that leads to the trapdoor.

Once we exit the dungeon when we opened the trapdoor, we finally made it to the surface, which is filled with dead body.

"Damn, that's a lot of dead dudes"

"Totally, Ruijerd really killed them all"

"Eh? Your friend is the one who killed these bunch of people?"

I was utterly astonished that a single man could kill this much baddies by himself. He could possibly a very strong person for sure.

"Nyaaa!!!"

""Wah!""

Suddenly, one of the beast girls screamed like a cat without warning, so me and Rudeus were surprised. Rudeus then talks to the cat girl who screamed and she told him what she is worried about.

"Hey, Rudeus. What did she say?" I whispered to Rudeus, asking about what the cat girl said.

"She said that a dog is still trap in the dungeon. I will go back there and retrieve it"

"Okay then, I will go with you"

"No, Ceobe. You need to go with Ruijerd and the rest of the beast girls"

"I really don't know them. So, it's better I will go with someone I can talk to"

"Is that so? Well, let's go find the dog"

After I reasoned with Rudeus, he turns to Ruijerd and talks with him. They argued a bit but they eventually met with an agreement.

Finally, the spearman and the beast girls left the area, leaving me and Rudeus behind.

"Ready, Ceobe"

"Roget that"

We then opened the trapdoor and went back inside the dungeon to save a trapped dog.
