But after all that happened, he surely wouldn't believe any answer anymore. —— Our five senses guide us from defining illusion from reality. But… What if our "reality" isn't reality at all? An unknown object pierced through in the void. It's shape and structure was so incomprehensible. At one moment, it may seem like a gust of wind, but at another, it also seems like a bullet, making it undefinable.
The unknown object was also radiating a horrendous and blood curdling breath that would make the surrounding organism die of heart attack. Luckily, there isn't a single normal animal in the void.
However, even with all of those, that was still not it's prominent feature. Because its speed was so fast that even the speed of light couldn't hold a candle to it! Because of its speed, even the void was disturbed!
The void dispersed wherever it went like water getting slashed, but the other parts of the void quickly mended the broken part, erasing any trails or evidence of its speed. Now, not a single soul would know that such unknown monstrosity had made its presence known here, with only the void to bear witness.
The void is so empty and devoid of light. Even death wouldn't exist in it. Yet peculiarly enough, the void wasn't actually filled with pure darkness.
The void would have been so dark if it weren't for the existence of this miracle— universes.
In the endless emptiness of the void, small universes were the main source of light.
Each universe was inside their own spheres, and unbelievably, such a large thing like the universe was actually able to be contained inside it!
They drifted on their own and radiated a luminescent spectrum of brilliance. It was so bright that it's brightness reached out to quintillion of light centuries away and the colours of its brilliance were not something a human eye can ever see or imagine.
But, however shiny they may be, they can never light up the whole emptiness of the void, especially since emptiness can never light up.
*Swoosh*
Now, through an unknown method, the unknown object ventured through the endless void and it seemed to be searching for something.
This unknown thing, which was venturing through the void, approached these universes one by one. It was unknown how long it took to travel to each universe because the concept of time doesn't exist in the void. Nevertheless, the unknown object still persevered and searched each universe.
After a very long time, a time that even humans can't dare imagine, the unknown object has already scanned thousands of universes. However, it was still not able to find what it was looking for.
Not until a shiny brilliance suddenly reaches out to it from afar. It was as if it was calling for it .
The unknown object calculated the distance from the source of light and discovered that the light's brilliance was far from the normal brightness of a universe. It's brightness was almost 4 times stronger than usual!
Curious about such an anomaly, the unknown object hurried to the light. This time, it applied most of its might and in just mere seconds, the void suffered its might and the unknown object reached the shiny universe!
Even though the distance was four times longer than usual, it was not enough to be in the unknown object's mind.
After getting close, a humongous universe came into the unknown object's view! Wait, no! It wasn't actually a humongous universe! Instead, it was actually a combination of 4 universes!
Four! Giant! Universes!
However, in spite of such unbelievable sight, the unknown object wasn't fazed one bit. It still just did what it usually does. It approached the combination of universes and scanned it.
It was almost as if the whole process would be repeated again. Just search for a universe, scan the universe, and keep on searching again.
Even with the unknown object's near omnipotence might, it still took a long time to scan the four universes. After a long time of scanning, it still was not able to find what it was looking for. And just as the unknown object was about to leave disappointedly, it's vision suddenly locked onto something!
It finally found what it was looking for!
Excitedly, the unknown object scanned the target one more time to see if it really is the target it was looking for.

Just as the unknown object was about to sign a contract with the target, the unknown object suddenly stopped.

The unknown object was actually a system! And that's not all! All along, the system was actually looking for a suitable host!
Unfortunately, even though the system met a suitable host after a long time of searching, they were just not fated to be.
The unknown system felt despondent, but it quickly recovered. It once again continued its mission and looked for a suitable host.

The system indecisively asked itself.
Transmigrators were rare species and can mostly be found only in 1 out of 1000 universes. The possibility of 2 transmigrators living in the same universe was quite small. If so, what's the point of scanning this universe if it's transmigrator is already contracted?
However, the system still chose to search the universe once again. Why continue searching? Even the system doesn't know.
It may be out of instinct, or the small expectation inside it, or maybe of the strings of fate tugging at its will, but whatever it may be, the system didn't know that it had just made its best decision in its whole life.
Just as the system scanned the universe again, it found another suitable target once more!
The system was elated and shocked at such coincidence. The chances of 2 wild transmigrator landing in the same wild universe was 1 in a million!
Only 1 in 1,000,000 universes!
Still, the system suppressed the elation. Since it was unknown whether the transmigrator was already contracted or not.

The system explained to itself to lower it's elation. And somehow, it worked on calming itself... But not on dousing the expectations inside it.

The system felt elated upon knowing this. However, as it continued scanning the target… the hope in inside it was smashed to smithereens.

The system nervously said to itself. After all, it doesn't want to scan the void to look for another one again.

The result was successful. However… somehow, the system didn't felt joyful for a little bit. After all, its expectations has been crushed. Why would it be happy?

After thinking for a long time, and after scanning all the future possibilities, the system didn't see a single problem, so it chose to settle with it.
After confirming the target one more time, the unknown object finally decided to enter the universe.
It first observed the timeline of the target.
Actually, the past and the present don't exist. They are mere measurements for these universal beings. And with a single glance, the unknown object saw all of the 'past' and 'present' of this universe. Even from the time it was born and even to its last breath.
As a universal entity, the unknown object was already used to it and after looking for the appropriate timeline of the host, the unknown object suppressed it's breath, entered the universe's domain and stepped into the designated timeline, aiming to approach the target.
