"Damn it Vincent, drive faster". Fira was bundled up in Skyler's arms.

After she had slumped, he called Chris who asked him to take her to the hospital as he was not within reach. As soon as they got to the hospital, he didn't wait for the gurney to be brought, he scooped his mate up in his arms and rushed inside.

"This way". A nurse led him to the private wards while the doctor was being called for.

"Alpha Quinn". The doctor bowed in greeting.

"Doctor Mason. She was abducted and found yesterday night. She was badly bruised as you can see, face swollen. She woke up this afternoon and then just slumped". Skyler explained in a rush.

The doctor got to work immediately.

"It's a good thing you brought her here on time. She might have gone into a coma". The doctor started. Skyler exhaled in relief.

"But. We are going to put her into a coma". He added.

"Why? What's wrong with her?"
