MHA: Flesh and Bones

I will be doing the fewer releases and more words per chapter format (Min. 3K words], the reason? So that I can develop this story while reading MHA (yeah, I'm not caught up to the latest chapter yet. In fact, I'm actually at the start of the USJ arc)

Looking at the screen in front of me I was a bit perplexed, "Reincarnation Panel? But I didn't die!"

Looking at my surroundings I can only see the colour white without any textures or depth, it looks like it goes and expands infinitely

I rack my brain trying to remember what happen and make sense of the nonsense that is happening to me, "I was just minding my own business eating and drinking at a cafe, and then... And then... I don't remember anything." I sighed, "Well, can't do anything about it I guess"

Looking back at the blue screen, I noticed that the words had changed

I chuckled, "Well isn't this an obvious question?" and tapped on the former option

Who is this guy you may ask? Well, I ask you not.

The words on the blue screen changed instantly.

Hmm, if I choose the former option then I'll be able to choose any world I would be sent to but my power would be randomized, the last thing I want to happen to me is to be sent into Naruto world with an extra finger on my right hand as a power so naturally I will choose the latter one.

My eyes widen as I saw the person I am reincarnating into, "What the actual fuck? I'm gonna be a girl?!"

"H-Hey system, it's there like an option to change the person I'll reincarnate into? Just the gender!", I say a bit pleadingly, though I don't mind reincarnating as a girl and getting to keep my memories because, after all, it is like a blessing in itself and not only that I will be sent somewhere I'm familiar with. However, a girl's period will be a pain in the lower part, plus if I were to become a hero then it might be more troublesome so I'm a bit reluctant because of that

"Woah, you can talk?!"

I sigh and shrugged, "Welp, it is a canon event", I chuckle at my silly and corny joke

"Which power should I get?", I thought for a while, mostly daydreaming and thinking about some overpowered stuff which I know won't be accepted by this system thingy.

Suddenly, another screen beside the Reincarnation Panel appeared.

My eyes lit up after seeing it, for a while I thought about some characters from games in my life and a thought came to my mind as I searched for the characters I had in mind

I then clicked on the 3 dots, and a keyboard appeared in front of me, "Neat" I said and I started tapping on it

*Many Tapping Noises*

Since I'm going to be a girl, why not just have a template of one?

I looked at the screen where I wrote the power I wanted, I said, "I think this is too op, meh let's just check anyways" and I pressed [Check.]

Even though I expected it, I still frowned, "Aw man", and so as a joke...

I thought for a moment, "Maybe I should just go with just Double instead" and without a second thought I started typing

"Ok, There is a second chance", I said smiling and nodding trying to convince myself that this is not too and will definitely work... Right?

"Maybe adding another immortality was too much... Wait, I didn't add the immunity to power copying and stealing right? Does Double has that immunity?", I said and went to check her on the wiki

"It seems she has both power mimicry and power nullification which if combined can lead to power absorption, just like AFO!! Well, with power nullification here, I don't think I need to worry about AFO too much"

My eyes lit up and without any hesitation, I pressed the big fat [YES]

Suddenly, both screens disappeared and my surrounding turns completely black along with a loud noise of a flipped switch. And soon after that, I pass out and lost consciousness

Slowly opening my eyes, I am greeted with yet another darkness, 'Is this the womb? Wait, I can open my eyes so where is this?'

Suddenly, I was hit with a pang of hungriness and with that came along my childish cries

*baby cry sfx*

A few moments later someone or something is moving in the darkness surrounding me and not long after a blinding light came and I instinctively close my eyes shut but I still cried and sobbed

"Ohh sweety are you hungry?", said someone with a motherly voice, it seems like she is my mother. Soon I was lifted and fed with breast milk

{4 Years Later}

Oh how fast time moves, it feels like it only has been a few words since the first time I got reincarnated here. Anyways, I'm currently in the hospital naming my quirk which just like the original is called "Big Fist" though I already can use my quirk before the age of four

You may ask why is my quirk the same and not changed? Well It's simple, I hid it and only show it by making my hands really big

For what reason? Well, basically Double has to control her own body and shapeshift, in the VS Battle Wiki it's called Control of the Body if I remember correctly and its appearance is horrifying so if I were to do that wouldn't that just be a free ticket for society abandonment? Just makes me a headache

Of course, I will use all of my quirk's ability at a later date, that's why I add biological absorption.

Anyways,

"So... You still want to be a hero?", said Itsuka Yamato, my dad, he is a doctor and has many books stored in one of the rooms of our house, most of the time I read the books there and my mom and dad helped me with it when he has time which he had least, he still make a room for important events though like my birthday

"Of course! Oh, and I want to join a dojo so I can do pow pow better and beat bad guys!", I said bringing my fist in a punching motion, because both of my dad's lazy attitude and my mother's overprotective attitude, I decide to act like an enthusiastic and funny kid

"Are you sure? Being a hero is dangerous you know?", said Itsuka Chiyo, my mother, I sometimes helped my mother with her chores and in the morning both of us go out to the market to buy necessities

"No! I still want to be a hero!", I said adamantly

Some of you may think when did I find time to train my quirk? Well as of right now I don't really need to train it because I can already use it masterfully, though almost every night I tried to transform into people I know of, one time I transformed into my dad, and the next moment into my mom and the next one I turn into Shota Aizawa. Pretty cool right? At other times I tried to transform into buff all might and it surprisingly works though I don't know if I can use all might's quirk since it was late at night in my own bedroom, I tried transforming into Nezu and I managed to mimic his quirk, it was a surreal experience, everything in my view become a slow motion and my thoughts become faster, though it was hard to move my body

I tried to transform into other characters outside of the My Hero Academia universe and except for the SkullGirls universe, others don't and won't work

Interrupting my four-wall break, my dad said "If you say so, do you want to go register right now? But what kind of martial arts do you want to learn? I think with your quirk boxing is better a choice"

My mom who was silent almost the whole time said, "I think so too", though she is overprotective but she knows when to let go and support her daughter, a good example of a mother

"Yeah!", I said as I raised my fist in excitement and so we went to register me at a boxing gym

{3 Years Later}

{Third POV}

In a gym inside could be seen two people are having a spar on a boxing ring surrounded by other people ranging from children to adults alike

On the boxing ring the two of them clearly have different sizes from each other, on one side is a male young adult around the age of 18 and on the other is a female teenager around the age of 13

The young adult thrust his fist forward to hit the teenager but the teenager dodges by ducking and then she delivers a fast jab to his stomach, the young adult notices this and tries to evade to the side away from the jab which he managed to do but it still managed to graze him

The young adult then created some distance from the teenager and raised both of his fists and the teenager does the same, with ragged breaths both of them prepared for the next round

*LOUD CLAP*

"ALRIGHT, THAT'S ENOUGH!", the coach alerted signifying the end of the course

Both of the children lower their hands and made a handshake, "Good Job, Itsuka-chan", said the teen with a sigh of relief, who had sparred with the kid which she promptly replied, "Thank you and you too, Nobuo-senpai!"

The coach said, "Kendo-chan, your mother is waiting outside to pick you up" and our main character, Itsuka Kendo who is now 7 years old, looked outside to see her mother on a motorcycle waving at her

"Then I will be going home, coach", Kendo said as she wave at the coach of the boxing gym, "See ya next week kid!", the coach replied and waved back

Kendo sat on the motorcycle behind her mother and they went away

"So how was your day?" Kendo's mother asked

"The same as usual but I almost beat Nobuo-senpai you know!", Kendo replied

"Oh?", her mom smirked, "Is he handsome?"

Kendo's face suddenly went red in 'embrassment' and she shouted, "MOM!" though this response only make her mother laugh

About Kendo's progress on her quirk, one time she tried to absorb animals and humans without anyone knowing and so far she managed to absorb a lot ranging from insects like cockroaches and praying mantes to animals like stray cats and stray dogs though she can still transform into these animals so there is actually no benefits other than getting their quirk and covering the traces of the corpse which she uses in her vigilantes activity

{Flashback Start}

{First POV}

It's late at night and it's time to go hunting!

While wearing a black face mask I opened the window in my bedroom on the second floor and looked around to see anyone nearby as I confirmed there wasn't any and I jumped down towards the ground and landed safely, I then went inside an alley to change my form, did you seriously think I would go out with only a mask and my pyjamas? Of course not

I transformed into a lean man and a face that I'm familiar with in my previous life, myself. My black face mask transformed into a full black mask that covers my whole face though I still can see and breathe perfectly and my pyjamas transformed into a dark blue hoodie with a black t-shirt underneath while also wearing a pair of jeans and a pair of shoes making me completely and utterly unrecognizable from my true identity

{Some Time Later}

"HELP! PLEASE!" shouted a woman in a nearby dark alley

"Oh?" I said stoically as I finally managed to find a victim thanks to my enhanced senses. I teleported using Peacock's ability to teleport to a nearby building, exactly next to the alley where the shouting woman was

In the alley, there was the woman in fear on the dead end of the alley and 2 men in front of her

"Heh, No hero gonna come here and save you ya know, just let us have a tas-", said a burly man to the earlier shouting woman and was interrupted by none other than-

With a grin, I said "Are you talking about me?" and I chuckled "I'm not a hero though (yet)"

The man seeing me frowned, "Piss off kid" and turns back to the woman

Suddenly, a spiked bone protruded from the man's stomach, "Hey hey hey, that's what happens when you ignore me! Now you are critically injured! How sad-" I said and was interrupted by a punch coming towards my face and I avoided it by only tilting my head to the side

In response, I hit his jaw and consequently knocking the man out and fell to the ground facing downwards with a thud

Just a boring fight.

The woman who was about to experience something horrible still quivering in fear at my skill at efficiently taking these two men down, or maybe because I killed one of them, oh well

I said, "Hey, don't you wanna go home now? And please do kindly tell the cops about what happened here", the woman who was quivering in fear suddenly realized and start to run towards my direction and ran away from me, probably towards a nearby police station or maybe her home, most likely the latter

Without waiting for the police to come here and arrest me for vigilantism, I started absorbing the man with the wide hole in his stomach without leaving any traces

I then decide to write the walls with the man's blood I absorbed and the word is "Nine-Tails". Yeah, that's my hero name, this identity has a quirk that allows him to make nine-bone tails and a claw without changing much of my facial features though it's actually not a real quirk I had

Writing on the walls with my victim's blood may seem stupid which actually is but that's the shtick of this identity and I won't change it

About the other man, I'll just leave him here and gave him an anesthetic just in case, I got it from a guy that has a quirk that can let him make small amounts of anesthetic on his index finger, the guy uses it with the same reason as both of these guys

Welp, its time to leave and I teleported somewhere else

{Flasback End}

"Oh right, tomorrow is your first day of school in a new school, right? Are you excited?" Said my mom

"Yep! That means It's three years before entering UA!" I said excitedly after all meeting canon characters is like a dream come true

My mom said, "That's great but please promise me one thing"

Huh? Why is she talking like that, it feels like a death flag, "Yes?"

With a serious tone, my mom said, "Promise that you will not quit being a hero despite the hurdle you face. I don't want my sweet happy child to go home depressed"

And silent ensues

Though a few moments later I broke it with a chuckle, "Of course not Mom, I will be making friends there and I won't leave my friends alone, because they trust me so I have to put my trust in them too!"

Though I can't see it, I know my mom smiled, "Well, if you say so"

And then the rest of the conversation is just something almost meaningless daily life stuff but I will remember this moment for the rest of my life though

{Third POV}

{Police Force}

In an office, there can be seen a man with a dog head sitting and rubbing his forehead while looking at the report paper in his hand. He wears a suit, consisting of a dress shirt, and waistcoat, over which he wears an unbuttoned black blazer and matching dress pants underneath. He has a belt with a large buckle and a black and white tie that resembles a Dalmatian's coat.

"Multiple cases have been reported concerning this person and a new one came in", The dog head man, Kenji Tsuragamae, said to no one in particular

[A bloodthirsty vigilante with a quirk that allows him to protrude nine long bones with the shape forming like a tail and sharp-clawed finger, most of the time he uses his tail to kill his victim by targetting the vital spot of the body such as the heart and the head, due the nature of the vigilante being able to appear in different places within a short amount of time there is a high chance that this vigilante is in an organization which needs further investigation.]
