His gaze at her was intense, but not flirtatiously for once. For once, it was full of concern and disquiet.

Yue failed to hold his stare and looked down at her hands fidgeting with her fingers before she shook her head denying that she indeed did not force him or even ask him to go against those people. That was his choice, his decision, his and his alone.

"Then why do you seek forgiveness Yue? What are you apologizing for?" He continued to pester her with his question until he could at least light up a tiny spark on her about she was not completely at fault. She had to be easy with the blame thrower always targeting herself.
