When it's done, she sags in exhaustion.

The door creaks as it opens. One of my tentacles draws my gun and puts it in my hand before the door opens more than a crack. But I don't fire. It's Caron Zedona at the door, Luna's father.

I quickly use my tentacles to cover as much of her as I can.
