Chapter 87 Engagement Party 14

I was agape when I saw the unveiled dress before me, it was a biedge pink ball gown, with little stones of diamond on it. The second dress was unveiled and that was a red layers gown with little stones around it. They were beautiful, which made it hard for me to choose.

"I really haven't made a choice yet, they both are gorgeous!" I said, a little confused. "That's alright, I guess with time you'd be able to choose!" Franca said

"I have something you would love too, just the right dress to suit you perfectly!" Franca said to Carie. "Come with me, while your sister try her dress out in the changing room!" Franca added. Carie walked away with her and I was left with Ruby and the sales assciates that would help me pleasechange.

"Madame the changing room is this way!" One of the sales associate gestured her hands to a door and I followed her. I tried the first one, which was the red gown sectioned in layers. It looked so beautiful as I imagined it to be, it wasn't easy wearing the dress, but I still forced it on. Beauty do come with a price.

Ruby took pictures of the dress, "they're really nice. If you have problem picking the right one, you can just send the pictures to your husband I'm sure he'd be of good help!" Ruby suggested. "Ya right, it's a pity no one knows how evil that man is!" I thought. Plus, I don't want him seeing the dress before I wear it.

"It's alright, I'm sure he's very busy right now!" I said. It's a good thing Ruby understood in time and did not ask more questions. "Okay then we can try the second one out!" She gestured her hands and the sales associate helped me take the dress off as they helped me with the biedge pink gown.

This gown was much more beautiful and comfortable than the former, and I loved it immediately. "It seems you like this one better?" Ruby asked when she saw the smile on my face. I couldn't wait for Alex to see this dress, I mean even if he acted all cold earlier, I couldn't help but think about him.

I felt my cheek heating up at the thought of him. "Yes, I love it!" I said with a smile. "I'm happy you're no longer angry!" She added in a barely audible voice. "Was it that obvious?" I asked.

"Yes, but it's nothing!" She said. Just then Carie and Franca walked in. "Oh my you look gorgeous honey!" Franca said. "Wow you look good!" Carie complemented too. "Thanks!" I appreciated.

We paid for the dress with Alex's credit card and got back home after dropping Ruby off, Carie suggested we go for jewelries and shoes shopping tomorrow, which was not a bad idea. Because the rest of the week would be for our mini vacation.

I would really miss Carie when I and Alex finally get seperated. We both had icecream sundaes with extra cherry at the top to cool our stress for the day while sitting at the edge of the pool listening to classico.

"Good evening madam, someone's here to see you, she said she was sent her by Master Alex!" Trish said to us. "It must be the card woman!" I said. "What card woman!" "The one Alex talked about!" 

"So you did talk to Alex today, no wonder you became upset all of a sudden!" Carie said. Ignoring her words "Let her in Trish!" I said.

"Your brother's an asshole!" I finally said to carie.
