Chapter 6

Cat stared deeply into Marinette's blue ocean eyes. Cat sighed, he was looking at the cutest girl he knew in the whole of Paris. Cat thought about it, wouldn't it be dangerous if a superhero was dating Marinette? He kept wondering as Marinette kept her head in his chest. He slowly ran his fingers through her silky hair. "I like this," Marinette said, sighing. She blushed as she snuggled closer to Cat's body.

Marinette made some very adorable noises that made Cat jump. Marinette got a fright when she felt the fingering stop. "W-What happened?" Marinette asked, a tremble in her voice. Cat soothed Marinette to calm her. Marinette yawned and caught the attention of Cat. "Shhh, Mari." Cat soothed. "Bye Bye little Akuma" Marinette yawned. Cat thought Marinette had been watching too much of Alya's blog or maybe even she was delusional. "What did you say, sweetheart?" Cat asked, pretending he hadn't heard anything.

"What?" Marinette yawned, confused and tired. Cat didn't bother trying to explain it to her so he picked her up and laid her down tucked up nicely in her bed. "Goodnight Princess," Cat said, kissing her forehead and quietly leaving.

When he had finished his duties at Marinette's he went straight home. Adrien de-transformed and lay on his bed looking at the ceiling. "Adrien, what is with all the ladies?" Plagg teased. Adrien wasn't pleased with this comment so he hid the cheese, which Plagg liked very much.

Adrien was confused. "I do like Marinette," Adrien began. "But I also like Ladybug!" Adrien said, confused even more. "Then why have you been kissing this other girl then?" Plagg asked. "I don't even know Plagg!" Adrien said, annoyed. "I wish you would stay out of it!" Adrien said, shouting a little.

Over at Marinette's, Marinette was up out of bed and designing, half asleep. "Marinette? Why are you designing at this hour?" Tikki asked. Marinette yawned and felt hazy. "I-I can't sleep. I just want to make a pretty outfit, Cat inspired, Tikki. Just to wear to school." Marinette yawned, all sleepy.

"You're going to hurt yourself Marinette," Tikki said, advising she went to bed. Marinette ignored her quaint little kwami and went back to trying to thread the needle. "Please Marinette!" Tikki said, worried. Marinette put aside her work and walked downstairs. Tikki followed, confused. Marinette got herself her favourite mug and started to make herself a coffee. "Marinette, this is not at all what I meant when I said you should be careful," Tikki said, tugging at her owner's hair.

Marinette was going too far with this. "You're right Tikki! I should make a cup of tea" Marinette said, pouring away the coffee she started to make. Tikki facepalmed herself and made her way back to the cookie jar in Marinette's room. Marinette yawned as she sprinkled the tea leaves into her mug. "Tikki?" Marinette said, half asleep and confused.

At Adrien's, Adrien was wide awake sending texts to Marinette. "She's not going to answer you, you know," Plagg said, peeping over at Adrien. Adrien chuckled lightly. "I don't care about what you have to say, Plagg. She's amazing isn't she" Adrien said, blushing deeply. Plagg stared at Adrien.

"What are you talking about, kid?" Plagg asked. "Marinette!" Adrien gushed, still blushing. Plagg stared at Adrien again. "You're not going to use that app are you?" Plagg asked as Adrien loaded up Snapchat. "Besides Plagg, It shouldn't be hard to find Marinette's Snapchat account," Adrien said, scrolling through his chats.

"So why are you texting another girl?" Plagg asked. Adrien shrugged. "I'm not ok! It's only Marinette who I am texting," Adrien said with a polite smile. "Adrien It's three am! She's unlikely to be awake" Plagg said, trying to take Adrien's phone away from him. Adrien had been reading a text quickly. It had been from Chloé. He didn't want to be rude.

Adrien smiled as he sent Marinette a snap. "You're using filters, Adrien!" Plagg said as if he understood what a filter was. "Yes!" Adrien said, firmly. "It's also so she doesn't figure out I am Adrien," Adrien said, worryingly

"Marinette" Tikki called, bringing down Marinette's phone. Marinette slowly sipped her cup of tea. "Yes," Marinette replied, slowly. Marinette grabbed her phone and put her cup of tea down. "Cat!" Marinette said, spitting out some tea left in her mouth. Marinette knew he had Snapchat, she had two accounts as she had accidentally said she has a Snapchat account as Ladybug.

"What is he doing awake!" Marinette said, picking up a towel to clean up the tea mess. "Why would he message me on Snapchat? I hate Snapchat. You know why I got it, Tikki!" Marinette said, angry and upset. Tikki shook her head. "Just delete Snapchat Mari" Tikki advised her. Marinette burst into tears.

Marinette sighed as she wiped away the pain by drying her tears. "Honestly, I do like Snapchat," Marinette admitted, under her breath. Tikki shook her head. "How can you like it and hate it?" Tikki asked. Marinette shrugged and turned her attention to something else. "What are you looking at?" Tikki asked, staring in Marinette's direction.

Marinette ignored the question and scrolled through the snaps Cat had sent her. Marinette started to make a snap video for Cat noir.

"Hey! You know it's way past 3 am by now." Marinette said with a sparkly filter on. "Hey! I was just going to head back to bed so don't even bother messaging me till later in the day" Marinette finished, sending the video.

Once Adrien received the snap video, he opened it and reviewed it and it also sent Marinette one final message. Sweetheart I hope that you never forget that I love you.
