Ch 56: Sparring Part 1

you know what the problem of the mc being op is? it's that he can't spar, he can only slaughter. this chapter is for those who say or think that mc is kissing Tang San's ass by the way.

Altair gave his signature smile as he roared loudly :"well, gahbas, get ready for a world of pain! ROOOAAR!"

then he ran towards them as Dai Mubai charged at him as well! Ma Hongjun and Tang San stayed behind as he activated his soul ring :"blue silver plant. intertwine."

as the two finally reached each other with the blue silver plant tagging along with Dai Mubai, the blue silver plant suddenly shot at Altair's hands and held them back!

Dai Mubai used this chance as he punched Altair in the cheek! but unfortunately for him, there was no damage to Altair or his predatory, insane smile :"hahaha! good teamwork, you two. but next time when you punch, punch hard enough for it to at least tickle!"

when he finished speaking, he didn't even bother to free his hands as he kicked Dai Mubai! but luckily for him, he crossed his arms in front of his chest and blocked it.

but it still didn't stop the force behind the kick. so he jumped a little as the powerful kick sent him flying backwards!

Altair looked at the blue silver plant holding his arms which now completely covered him cause of Tang San :"hmm, although your blue silver plant became thinner...

the characteristics of the human faced demon spider has been added to it. the toughness has been greatly increased."

Tang San nodded with a serious face :"yes, you're correct. and it's poison has gotten stronger as well! second soul skill. parasitic!"

sharp, red thorns grew all over the blue silver plants containing Altair. but to Tang San's surprise, not only did he not resist or show an expression of pain, he even yawned {me too}!

Altair :"you all better start making this fight fun or I'mma blow away the thought of beating the shit out of ya gently. cause this is getting boring even though it just started."

and the moment he finished speaking, he flexed his arms and pulled them forward, breaking the blue silver plant that was holding them!

he then opened his wings fully and started swinging his long tail as he completely cut and shattered the blue silver plant, freeing himself.

he spread his hands as he said with a cocky smile :"c'mon, man. start attacking already. what are you waiting for?

here, I won't even dodge a single attack. fight me with all you've got. I mean, hahaha there is no need for me to dodge anyway.

even the granny next door can inflict more damage than you guys. hahaha! what? are you scared?! hahaha!

here, you guys are so pathetic that I won't even attack! I'm gonna just stand here, and take on all your attacks.

*baby voice activate* is that enough, little babies? or do you need even more handicaps? better start attacking before I rain hell fire on ya."

Tang San was mad, but he was still calm. unlike the two, Ma Hongjun and Dai Mubai next to him who had smoke coming out of their heads from anger!

Tang San tried to calm down as he attempted to calm them down as well :"calm down, guys. we shouldn't get mad and make a mistake. then take this, Altair!"

Tang San shot blue and purple light at Altair who still was smirking with a nonchalant face. when the light reached him, it exploded as blue silver plants shot at all directions from it!

Altair was trapped inside the laser room like blue silver plant, but it seems that Tang San wasn't satisfied with it yet.

so even more blue silver plant appeared because of his third soul ring and trapped Altair limbs inside again. unfortunately though, it couldn't even break his skin to poison him

but this time, Dai Mubai and Ma Hongjun took action as well as they used their long ranged soul rings!

Dai Mubai :"white tiger intense light wave!"

Ma Hongjun :"phoenix fire wire!"

the two attacks connected with Altair's unmoving body and exploded when they hit him! the explosion and damage was even greater because of the two attacks connecting at the same time and with each other.

everyone on the sideline looked at the scene with different expressions as smoke filled the area where Altair was.

some with curiosity, some with seriousness, some with happiness that the three might have one, some with worry for Altair, and one without any of them as he already knew the outcome.

as the smoke began to vanish, the tapping of a food to the ground sounded as a song was heard:

"let there be cha~os and let there be pa~in.

let there be e~vil that runs through my va~ins.

let there be ma~dness it can't be conta~ined.

let there be ca~rnage we won't stop till all foes are slain."

in everyone's surprised and shocked gaze, the smoke vanished and Altair with the same cocky grin as before appeared without a single wound or damage! not even to his clothes!

Altair :"I have to admit, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. now, it's my turn to start attacking. brace yourselves."

with his signature smile on his face, Altair's tail and wings lit up on fire as he swung them around and completely destroyed the blue silver plants in a few seconds and charged at them!

Altair was done going easy on them, cause this time when Tang San attacked him with blue silver plant to trap him, he just cut them to pieces using his tail, wings or just his nails!

Dai Mubai :"white tiger vajra transformation!" after activating his third soul ring which increased his attack,. strength and defence by a 100%, he also rushed at Altair!

but this time when he tried to punch him, Altair hit his forearm with a backhand and then bitch slapped him into flying!

but just when the hit was about to connect, Dai Mubai activated his first soul ring, white tiger shield body barrier and increased his strength and defence.

but the shield wasn't strong enough and shattered immediately upon contact with Altair's bitch slap!

Altair :"hahaha! where do you think you're going?!" roared and jumped at him :"let me show you what a real attack looks like!"

when he finally reached him and was in front of him in mid air, he inhaled and roared the words that every legend knows :"muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda! muda!!"

after punching the shit out of him with enough force to not break anything, he punched him flying with a final punch!

he then looked at the other two who had a look of shock, and decided to beat the shit out of Tang San next!

as he rushed at him and finally got ready to punch him, he roared with his signature smile :"come on, brother! why don't you taste the fist of love?!"

Ma Hongjun exhaled a sigh of relief for not getting targeted as Tang San activated his purple demon eye technique and started using his Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track technique!

he started to nimbly dodge Al's punch of pure bruteness and of instinct. when they saw that he isn't paying any attention to Ma Hongjun, Ma Hongjun took the chance and activated his first soul skill again!

everyone looked with complete focus as Ma Hongjun's flames completely engulfed and kept shooting Altair who started laughing like a maniac :"HAHAHAHA! YOU'RE USING FLAMES IN FRONT OF ME?! LET'S SEE WHO'S FIRE IS HOTTER THEN!!"

the moment he finished speaking, he used his fire manipulation and started shooting fire out of his mouth like Ma Hongjun!

the two fires connected as they fought for dominance! but unfortunately for Ma Hongjun, his fire of a level 20 soul grandmaster was nothing against the fire of the level 40 soul sect who gained his fire manipulation from a ten thousand year soul ring!

he was immediately defeated and could only jumped to the side to dodge the flames! Altair had mercy on him and let him thankfully.

he then immediately got back to attacking Tang San as he dodged left and right. Al finally had enough and grabbed his leg when he had his attention on the punch that Altair had sent to his face!

Tang San's eyes went wide as Altair said :"you forgot about my tail? well you won't from now on!" then he pulled him of the ground and slammed his back to ground like a hammer!

he repeated the action a few times as he slammed him again and again to left and right and as he lifted up the grunting Tang San as if to slam him again, he pulled him towards himself and punched him in the gut!

the upside down Tang San mouth shot open as spit flied out, but Altair didn't give him any time and punched his face!

he let go of his leg as he was sent flying like Dai Mubai a little while ago and jumped at him as well and roared :"now let me show you how to really use your legs!"

and when he was in front of him, he chanted the same words again as he started kicking him :"muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda! muda!!"

when Tang San got slammed to the ground in everyone's shocked eyes and Xiao Wu's worried gaze, Altair rushed at him again with the smile that never left his face!

and just when he was about to punch him in the face again, Yu Xiaogang's loud voice was heard and stopped him just a few centimeters from Tang San's face :"that's enough! Altair has won!"

Altair straightened his hunched back and picked up Tang San as if he's a potato sack and put him on his shoulder as he walked to the tired body of Dai Mubai and held him on his side after picking him up and walked back to the group with a smirk as he said :"Eve, please take care of these two with your feathers. thanks."

Eve sighed tiredly while shaking his head as h nodded and shot a recovery feather at each of them.

Tang San :"thanks, Eve."

Dai Mubai :"thank you."

Yu Xiaogang looked at Al with a stern gaze as he said :"Altair, you were too careless. even if your defense is hard, you still shouldn't have given them the chance to attack.

especially Tang San's attack. you're a soul master of storm attacking branch, controlling branch is your enemy.

you are too reckless, attacking with just brute strength and not caring about the attacks and damages that are inflicted to you."

the three felt better and smiled as they saw how he got scolded, but it didn't last long as Yu Xiaogang started scolding them :"what are you guys happy about?

Dai Mubai, you and Altair are both from the storm attacking branch, but you attacked him head on even though you knew he was stronger.

Ma Hongjun, you are a ranged attacker. you should have attacked him at every chance you've got.

Tang San, you're a controlling branch soul master and should know the situation of the entire field. but you completely forgot about Altair's tail which resulted in your defeat.

and that's not all. you all immediately lost your temper and got angry when Altair made fun of you. not knowing that it was his plan all along."

everyone but Eve looked at Al who was smirking with shock as Yu Xiaogang continued :"yes, that's correct.

he may have been acting as if he was just insulting you, but he was trying to make you mad so that you would act carelessly and make mistakes.

and his plan worked perfectly as he completely defeated you with ease using his defense to tank your attacks to make you even angrier and then strike when you're distracted!"
