MAHARLIKA: Warriors of Edgecrest High

Tala Garcia was still a child when her mother died from an illness. Because of this, she had to move from the Philippines to Edgecrest and live with a new family. She found it hard to adjust to a new place, a new environment, a new school. The only thing that seems to comfort her during these hard times was drawing because it reminded her of her mom. One afternoon, Tala together with five other students and a teacher came to check the old scouts building at the back of the school. On their way, a mysterious event happened that gave them superhuman abilities. With no recollection of the events, Tala and the other students continue to discover what really happened to them while also navigating the problematic and stressful environment of High School.
