"What did they say?" Alexander asked Sabrina.
"They said that they'd be flying here to visit me next week," Sabrina said, "And uhmm, my dad, he kind of spoke about us living together to my grandparents and uhm…"
"And?"
"And they all want to stay here with us," Sabrina bowed her head down as she spoke, "I can talk to them if you don't want to---"
"No, it's okay baby. We have enough rooms," Alexander smiled at Sabrina.
In Alexander's mind, her parents and grandparents coming here wasn't a good idea right now. He was sure that one of Director Walker's reasons for hurting Sabrina was to hurt the Walkers, especially his stepmother.
Revenge was definitely one of his reasons.
But although he opposes the idea of their visit, it was an advantage for him. He can access first-hand information from them which can help him understand the situation between Julian Walker and the Walker Family.
Bonding with the in-laws perhaps?
"I'll have the rooms cleaned for them," Alexander pulled Sabrina close to him and hugged her.
"I was actually expecting you to disagree," Sabrina spoke on Alexander's chest.
"Hmm, why?" Alexander asked as he placed a kiss on Sabrina's head.
"We'll be conscious with our actions," Sabrina answered with a hint of disappointment in her voice.
"Nah, I don't think so," Alexander pulled away from Sabrina and placed a chaste kiss on her lips, "I can kiss you like this in front of them if I wanted to," he said then smiled at her.
"Kissing monster," Sabrina glared at him.
"Your kissing monster," Alexander winked at her, "I'll be leaving later, I need to visit Daniel," he said.
"Daniel?" Sabrina raised her brows, "Is he the sneaky guy from the kitchen before?" she asked.
"Yeah, I'll introduce him properly to you next time," Alexander tapped the tip of Sabrina's nose.
After their time in the kitchen, Alexander prepared himself to go out and meet Daniel. He didn't bring Grey this time as he was still busy with the task Alexander had given him. He kissed Sabrina goodbye before he left to visit Daniel.
Two main problems for him to deal with, Jacob and Director Walker.
"Okay I just had insider information about Lockwood Corporation before you arrived," Daniel sat in front of Alexander.
"What?" Alexander crossed his legs as he raised his brow at him.
"Don't be surprised okay?" Daniel pointed at Alexander.
"Just get straight to the point," Alexander said irritably.
"Can you not ruin the suspense?" Daniel looked at Alexander in disbelief but Alexander just shrugged. Daniel rolled his eyes at Alexander. "Jacob is trying to kick his dad out from the position of president," he said.
Alexander suddenly straightened his back, "How do you know that?" he asked.
"Some chic I made out with before that works at Lockwood Corp. contacted me earlier to meet up because she's here in LA right now and we kind of talked about several things like life and stuff and Lockwood Corporation an---," Daniel immediately waved his hands in front of Alexander, "Wait! That's not the topic here," he said, realizing that he was talking too much. He coughed three times before he continued, "As I was saying, he already has 10 sure votes out of 15," Daniel added.
"Meaning, he has the power to kick his father out already," Alexander said.
"Bingo!" Daniel exclaimed, "We don't have to make him breach the contract anymore," he said enthusiastically.
"We just have to let his father know," said Alexander.
"You got it right! Isn't that more exciting?" Daniel clapped his hands in excitement, "We get to strip him of everything," he added.
"The last time I was here, you were scolding me of being too much, look at you. You're much sinister than I am," Alexander looked at Daniel weirdly.
"Can't I have a change of heart? And besides I'm helping you," Daniel defended himself, "Well anyways, when are we going to sign our contract?" he asked Alexander.
Alexander looked at Daniel questioningly, "What contract are you talking about?" he asked.
"The contract between our companies? Partnership?"
"Oh that," Alexander smiled playfully at Daniel, "I don't think the deal still stands," he said, standing up and ready to leave.
"Wait, wait. What do you mean by that?" Daniel spread his arms in front of Alexander to block his path.
"Well since we're not going to make Jacob breach the contract anymore, I don't need to replace Lockwood Corporation," Alexander shrugged, "All thanks to your chic informant, I saved myself a billion dollars," he winked at Daniel then walked past him to leave.
Daniel suddenly felt his heart drop, "Alexander! You whack! Get back here!" Daniel yelled but Alexander didn't mind him, "Let's continue the breaching plan! Alexander!" he shouted again.
As soon as Alexander left Daniel's house, he brought out his phone to make a call to Grey.
"Hello Sir?" Grey spoke.
"Book us a flight back to City A today," Alexander ordered.
"Understood Sir," Grey answered.
"I'll give further instructions later when I get home," Alexander ended the call and boarded his car.
On his way home, Alexander's phone suddenly rang. He grabbed his earpiece and answered the call.
"Grande speaking," he said.
"Let's meet up," the man from the other line spoke.
By the voice of the speaker, Alexander immediately recognized who it was.
"First my address and now my number, are you stalking me Mr. Lockwood?" Alexander chuckled.
"Don't get ahead of yourself. I'm doing this for Sabrina," Jacob answered back.
"For an ex-boyfriend and a married man, isn't it for you to be chasing someone else's girlfriend?" Alexander asked in a mocking tone, "Why? Can't move on?" he added.
"Sabrina was mine first and will always be mine," Jacob spoke in gritted teeth, "Go to Midnight Hotel, let's talk there," he said then ended the call.
Alexander sighed, "I hate being ordered," he said while he gripped his steering wheel tight.
Alexander turned his steering wheel to make a U-turn and sped off to Moonlight Hotel.
