Loving Kira (Death Note Fan Fiction) (finished)

Light was across the room from me, always so distant it became so suspicious..

I could hear that he was talking to Matsuda and the rest of the force, nothing new.

I watched his every movement, I could never take my eyes of him.

"I suspect you Light" I whispered under my breath, I couldn't help but recognise that he was always so switched on.. almost like a light bulb.

*briefly chuckles*

"What are you laughing at Ryuzaki?"

"Oh well, you caught me off guard as always Light.. That's so what you do best though right?"

I could see the tension in his eyes, he always laughs it off though.. Guess you can call it a water of a ducks back huh?

*Slight Chuckle* "You're still on about it aren't you? You must really suspect I'm Kira.."

"Yes, it may seem that way.. Oh wait, oh yes it is.. As a matter of fact Light, I don't just suspect you're Kira.. I KNOW you are Kira."

He walked towards me, the clicking of his shoes echoed through the room.. What was he planning to do, kill me? No he couldn't.. he wouldn't be that stupid, seduce me maybe? No thats absurd, I'd never let him get to me that easy... What game are you playing Light Yagami?

"Ryuzaki, look into my eyes.."

he leaned in close to me..

" you really think that I'm Kira? After putting cameras in my room, locking me in a cell for weeks on end.. It wouldn't make much sense if I was Kira now would it?"

"Yes Light, it wouldn't make much sense but it isn't impossible and besides that, you'd want me to think that it wouldn't be possible.."

He leaned his head back and smirked

"That's one of the many things I like about you.. Ryuzaki, you think outside the box.. No, even further than that. I'm impressed but it would take a lot more to prove that I am Kira even if I was.."

He got me there, such a smart remark coming from him.. He's cornered me here in a mind game, he didn't admit to being Kira and he didn't admit to not being him.. What are you planning Light Yagami.

"I'm also impressed, guess this is like piggy in the middle... except you and I are the ones passing the ball trying to avoid the ball getting into the wrong hands. What if you were to not catch it.. what would happen then? Wouldn't you be in the middle Light?"

"I could say the exact same thing about you L, by any chance if you dropped the ball you could be in the middle aswell!"

"No need to get all heated, besides I'm not Kira.. there is definitely no way I could be.. especially when I'm the most succeeding detective in the world... you have nothing on me Light!"

He clenched his fists and leaned close to me with pure frustration... I swear this is the face of a murderer

"RYUZAKI!"

Why does he make me feel this way? Hes driving me crazy about this case, for all I know he may very well not be Kira but there is something about him.. I can't fathom it, it's making me go insane

"Light" I said with such shyness, what's going on?

He leaned closer, his eyes were so deep that I fell into them so far... He held my shoulders back and I could hear the tension in his breathing.

My heart was beating out of my chest, I didn't know what to do.. How did I let this happen, he has got to me.. not in a physical way but mentally, I can't help but like him but how can you nearly love someone when you suspect them to be Kira..

"Light what are you doing, this is.. a serious.."

Oh no, I'm doing it again.. my mind, snap out of it ugh!

He rubbed his hand against my cheek and slowly leaned in even closer..

Is he going to kiss me? How did we get here...!?

He knelt down to me, his lips ever so slightly touched mine..

He forcefully pushed me to the ground, the kiss went on forever.. he was going crazy.

I couldn't stop thinking about the possibility of him being Kira..

"Light.. Light!"

He glanced over at me and smiled

"Light, we can't do this.. I suspect you're Kira, we are working on a case together and apart from that this is not right... not now"

"Kind of hard to take you seriously when you keep saying my name intimately.. Lawliet"

He knows my name? MY NAME..

"L..Light, you know my nam-.."

"Shhh.. don't say anything"

He rested my head gently back on the floor and kept kissing me..

He's Kira.. Light is Kira! How does he know my name.. That is impossible? I like Light but I want Kira... I want to take him down.

"L..Light! Awh Light, n..no!"

"I'll handle everything.. don't fuss, I won't hurt a hair on your head"

I couldn't hesitate, I wanted Light but if he's Kira.. No I couldn't possibly join him, it's wrong!

I can't fall in love with Kira...
