Chapter 36:JJ and Aaron stop in

~ Cory left and I stood here looking over the balcony. I was in such disbelief at what he shared with me, about being a tubebaby Princess.

How can he expect me to believe him? Why would a tubebaby female be made into a Princess? Something about the whole story was suspicious. Makes me wonder what is the real reason why the Royals took me in.

Forget this! I told myself. I am not sticking around here anyways. My eyes wandered over far past the gardens studying deeper into the meadow and forest.

Then I looked below around the courtyard gardens. Hybrid-men are covering the backgrounds guarding, as Cory mentioned. I studied around the edges of the property line. On where the large wall trimmed hedges are hiding that metal gate. I've already escaped through towards the front.

Now I am thinking, maybe if I walk further out down the garden. I could try and run through that gate again.

But the tracker, I suddenly remembered. Umm... I'll have to figure out where it is and get it out of my body. Then I can live the life I chose for myself. There is no way I am staying here! Especially if he seems to be debating on marrying me. No way is happening!

Businessmen had a cruel way of dealing with slaves. Yet, I've always heard of such terrible things about the Kingdoms with how brutal they are. Kingdoms are considered the worst and far most dangerous Society to be a part of. There isn't any way I will say here to marry a Primary King such as Cory.

Cory confuses me with his weird twisted moods. Drives me nuts, I can't read him. I could read my previous Master and always knew what to expect from him. If he was unhappy, displeased, angry, or if he was just in a neutral mood. But with Cory and his men, I can't read any of them. It makes me feel entirely uneasy. Any of them could strike at me at any given moment without me being aware of it. Whereas I could at least prepare myself with my past Master to be slapped or even tossed in a bed.

In the middle of thinking, I heard someone open the door. So walked off the balcony and went back into the room. To see JJ and Aaron enter the bedroom. Both men smiled gently at me.

With kindness, Aaron said, "I've heard we have a pretty name to go with such a pretty face. I think Sally fits you perfectly."

Keeping my cool, I said with a faint smile, "It's nice to have a name other than slave now." Although, I remember it fully well. Aaron would have put me down if Cory ordered him to, so I was very cautious.

JJ glimpsed at me and said, "I'm sure it does. Seems like you are doing so much better."

Aaron nodded and said, "I completely agree with that statement." And asked her beaming. "Do you care to take a walk with us?"

I asked puzzled, "A walk to where?" And showed my suspicion to have no trust towards these new hybrid-men.

Very gently to try reassuring her. "To my lab. Cory wants an ultrasound done on you. I could do it here in the room but I also thought this could be a chance for you to have a break from the room." Replied JJ

Puzzled, I asked, "I thought Cory said I wasn't yet ready to leave the room?"

"Yes, he did but Matt and Mike spoke with him about giving you a small walk around to see how you do," Aaron said smiling.

JJ stated gleamingly, "Yes, after the tests are done. We will return you to the room."

Crossing my arms together. "What tests are needed and are they going to hurt?" I asked suspiciously.

JJ said trying to soothe me, "No, they are completely painless."

But I didn't trust what he was telling me. Slightly annoyed, I glared at him saying, "That is what you said last time!"

Aaron let out a chuckle causing me to glare at him now too. I almost wanted to chuckle from watching JJ hit Aaron's arm lightly with his elbow. But I kept my face firm away from revealing the slightest smile.

With a smirk, Aaron said to JJ, "I was laughing at her annoyed tone attitude in her voice!"

JJ only shook his head at him. "I am truly sorry about that. It wasn't supposed to happen." He said sincerely to me.

"Why did it happen then?" Being skeptical, I asked.

JJ and Aaron were impressed by her and how she asked her questions so cleverly.

JJ answered somewhat lying. "From you being a tubebaby gifted you with a few different traits is all. You have a withstand against medicines so drugs don't last very long in your system.

After thinking more. "What about my dark blood and healing abilities?" I asked firmly.

Since Cory had already informed his men exactly what to say. Then JJ came up with the next lie. "It's nothing." JJ falsely assured. "It's only some higher rank gene that was added to you. Since the Royals decided to make you the first tubebaby Princess genetically created. Then you were going to be wedded off to Cory. During your development, you gained odd traits. It's nothing more than that." As he randomly added, "Cory's mother adored you greatly. Something I feel you should know."

Still being skeptical. "This is it then?" I asked with unsureness. "I have found my rightful place back home?"

"Yes, you are home now. A lot of the Royals are very excited to hear you have been found and returned home once again. News about your return is spreading fast around the Kingdom." Aaron informed me smiling.

I only gave an unsure shy smile not fully sure what to think or feel. Something within my stomach cells kept telling me not to trust them.

"Are you ready to go now?" Very gently, JJ asked.

I nodded, "Yes."
