Damien Winters has newly awakened to a reality unlike any before. Attacked and turned into a vampire, the veils that once concealed the supernatural world are lifted for his eyes to see. Vampires, werewolves, witches, mages, demons... as well as potions, dream worlds, curses, and artifacts of untold power exist alongside familiar modern trappings. From this moment on, his journey as an Ascendant—a being capable of evolving through the ingestion of Pathway Pills—begins. As Damien ascends his Pathway, glimpses of the secrets behind an ancient castle in the Dream World and forces pulling strings from the shadows begin to emerge. However, gaining more power comes at an increasingly high cost. Yet the more he learns about this new world, the stronger his desire to evolve and protect his loved ones becomes. And to achieve that, nothing and no one can stop him...not even Evil Gods trying to rise from their millennia-long slumber. ××× WSA Entry! I would like to count on your support. 100 Power Stones = 2 extra chapter ××× Hi everyone, I'm OlwinMoriarty! This is a fantasy novel I would like to write. As a non-native English speaker, similar to many other writers here XD, I might make some mistakes. Also, I don't have much writing experience, so I'm not entirely sure if I'm doing everything correctly. If these things don't bother you, I hope you'll join me on this journey and provide guidance along the way. ××× Tags: No Yuri - No Netorare - No NTR - Antihero - Slice of Life - Smut - Hentai - Different World's and Races - Harem - Yandere FL - Yandere MC - Possessive MC - MC Playing God - Secret Organization - Beautiful FL - Handsome MC - Crazy MC - Beautiful Subordinates.

Chapter 1Chapter 01: Crimson Eyes

This day was supposed to be just another boring, mundane day for me. The usual routine of going to college, grabbing something from the nearby grocery store, and being home by midnight.

I'd eat dinner, whatever Sophie had cooked, we'd watch a few shows together, and then off to bed, waiting for sleep to hurry up and bring the dawn so I could go back to work.

This routine cycle would repeat itself endlessly, making me a productive member of a society that offered no other alternative.

And yet, maybe, just maybe, the bitch of fate had something else in mind for me. One unexpected encounter, one twist out of a clichéd novel, and my whole reality would come crashing down like shattered glass.

"Ugh, I'm so damn tired."

On the surface, I, Damien Winters, looked like an ordinary student heading home after a day of classes. But inside, my frustration with the unchanging daily routine was growing.

I let out a sigh that reflected the exhaustion that had built up inside me. I raised the straw to my lips and took a sip of the orange soda in my hand, feeling the refreshing sensation flow down my parched throat.

As a night student, the sun had long since disappeared from the sky. Thankfully, there were still people walking under the streetlights and the occasional car driving by. My house was a little off the main road, so there wasn't much traffic around here.

"Even my favorite soda can't take away this feeling, can it?"

Just a short time ago, I was at my usual grocery store, the one that offers inexpensive supplies for someone like me. But ever since I left there, I've been feeling... strange, to say the least. There's this nagging feeling that something's not quite right.

I took another sip of my soda, lazily scanning my surroundings as I maneuvered through the crowd. And then something completely unexpected happened.

I felt my body collide with something, like a watery membrane, and suddenly everything around me started fluctuating like crazy.

When I came out on the other side, the whole landscape had changed.

"What the fuck?"

My feet froze and my eyes darted around in disbelief. Technically, I was still in the same place—houses and streetlights still stood.

But the people and vehicles that had passed me moments before... had vanished into thin air!

In this darkness, where it seemed I was the only living thing left, the streetlights flickered eerily, giving off a kind of abandoned hospital room vibe. The whole atmosphere gave me the creeps, like something out of a horror movie.

"It's messed up." The air was heavy with a foul stench I hadn't noticed before.

"This smell... Is it the stench of rotting blood?"

A feeling of unease settled in my chest. Whatever had just happened, things were definitely not the same.

As a librarian, I had come across countless stories from various sources. Stories written by unknown authors with plots so outlandish that you couldn't help but wonder what they were smoking when they came up with such wild ideas. But the strangest thing was that these stories would disappear without a trace.

I even remember my boss scolding me once for trying to present one of these stories. "Some things are better left alone," were his exact words.

At the time, I didn't think much of it. But as my curiosity got the better of me and I delved deeper into these mysteries, I began to understand the wisdom behind my boss's words.

This world holds secrets far more twisted than I ever imagined.

Though I had never been directly involved, I had always sensed that something was amiss. Strange little details that couldn't quite be explained.

But this... this is different. For the first time, I found myself right in the middle of an unknown force that had twisted reality just like those stories described.

I had no idea where I was, and frankly, even though I was tired of the mundane, I'd rather not find out. Just reading those stories is more than enough to make me realize that if I get involved with that 'dark side of the world' in any way, I'll probably end up as a sacrificial offering to some evil god or something.

"Sup, what's up? Later, losers."

I quickly turned around, intending to go back the way I came. However, the 'water portal' that had brought me here didn't seem to want to let me return. Or rather, it had completely disappeared!

And then... Boom!

A small explosion shook one of the nearby buildings. Before I could curse the goddess of fortune, I saw a dark blur coming towards me at an inhuman speed. I didn't have time to react.

Bang!

Fortunately, the figure passed several meters from where I was standing and burrowed deep into the wall.

A cloud of dust rose from the collision. When it cleared, a pale, bloodied hand emerged from the crack. With sharp fingers digging into the concrete, the entire body was pulled out like a man possessed in an exorcism movie.

Seeing the condition of the person emerging, I couldn't help but instinctively recoil. Every fiber of my being bristled at the sight.

"What the hell?!"

His body was horribly mangled! His feet were twisted to the side, while his neck was twisted so that his face was turned to his back. But the most horrifying sight was to see the blood recoiling into what looked like bloody tentacles, sucked back into his wounds.

In a matter of seconds, an injury that would be fatal to a human was completely healed, leaving no trace behind!

"Heh, the resilience of you dogs has always been impressive. Can you sympathize with my pitiful condition, old friend?"

With his neck still dislocated, his voice sounded like the painful scraping of two metals. Suddenly, he reached up with his reattached arm and grabbed his head, making a sickening "crack" as he snapped it back into place.

"Oh? A human wandering into our domain? Mm, interesting."

A shiver ran down my spine. In the moonlight, his eyes glowed with a crimson hue. His gaze seemed to pierce me, and for a brief moment, I felt as if an invisible pressure was crushing me.

It was then that I realized my true position. I was the prey and he was the predator. I had never felt so insignificant.

My instincts screamed for me to flee, but my body simply refused to respond.

The man, or rather the monster, began to approach me. With every step he took, an overwhelming pressure seemed to crush my body, but I clenched my lower lip and took a step back every time he got closer.

"Heh heh heh! This is getting interesting. How about serving me? I doubt an ordinary person could enter our domain. What do you say?"

A horribly twisted grin spread across his face. His lips revealed a pair of fangs as he flicked his tongue. It was an absurd and disturbing smile. His eyes glowed with an even more intense shade of crimson, sending a tingling sensation through my head.

"I-I'm sorry, but I have to decline," I stammered, unable to hide the tremor in my voice.

"What? You're not under my hypnosis?"

What the hell is that monster talking about? Does he think we're in some kind of hentai world?

For a moment, his crimson eyes stared at me in genuine surprise. His confusion soon gave way to a roar of laughter.

Then I heard a menacing growl. In the moonlight, a massive silhouette towered over the roof of a nearby house. When I saw the monstrous figure, my breath caught and my eyes twitched.

"I'm sorry, Sophie, but I may never see you again."

Primordial Villain with a Slave Harem

Quinlan, a simple office worker finds himself transmigrated to an extremely dangerous fantasy land as a level 1 Commoner with nothing to his name but his wits - and a unique gift that accompanied his teleportation. No one in Thalorind could have predicted that this unassuming arrival would one day rise to the top, redefining the very meaning of the term 'power'... And that he may have achieved said result by joining a criminal organization and clawing his way through its ranks. In the beginning, Quinlan was painfully weak and alone but thanks to his severe trust issues, joining a team was... hard. However, he soon noticed that a lot of people have collars around their necks in this world... People that couldn't exactly betray him. Follow Quinlan's journey as he grows in strength, amasses wealth, fights to the death, and meets lovely ladies. ... Discord: https://discord.gg/bjunEkswQ3 ... After writing over 750 chapters, here’s what you should know: 1. About the beginning: The early chapters are a bit rough. I'm not saying that it's horrible, in fact, I believe the story to be very enjoyable right from chapter 1. But, at the end of the day, this is my first original novel, and I stumbled in some areas, especially with the MC's attitude. He's too reserved and occasionally too "simpy" with the first female lead. However, the MC grows into a confident, powerful, and composed figure. No long-term cringe. He becomes the kind of MC you want to root for. 2. Quinlan’s morality: He’s not a cruel, sadistic villain. Most of the time, he won't even be acting like a real villain, only when pushed to the limit. Meaning he won't torture puppies or civilians for fun while cackling manically. However, he’s greedy, shameless, and opportunistic. If the lives of his loved ones are at stake and he can only save them by burning a city with innocents inside down, he’ll do it. He's ruthless toward strangers when necessary, but doesn't delight in cruelty. 3. Regarding slaves: Yes, Quinlan becomes a slave master. However, he treats all his women—free or enslaved—with care and respect. 4. More than smut: Every love interest has a real story, a real presence. No girl will be left behind. As of Chapter 750, Quinlan has 7 lovers and a few more "in-development" love interests. This is not a "catch them all" story, adding one girl every 20 chapters. I prefer harems made up of girls with richly developed characters over giant harems full of shallow ladies. Quality over Quantity. 5. Balanced storytelling: My aim was to create a work where romance, action, and slice-of-life blend together naturally. There’s high-stakes action, power progression, romantic developments, comedy, and some chill downtime to let both the characters and the readers breathe. 6. Weak-to-Strong Progression: Quinlan will become OP. But he rises slowly, not overnight. His journey will hopefully feel earned. 7. Not every female character listed in the fandom is a love interest: Some women are important to the plot but are not part of the harem or a planned to be, such as his two mothers. 8. No Yuri. No NTR. That's it, thank you for taking your chance on my novel! I'll make a promise to you, showing how much I believe you'll love the novel if you get over the somewhat bumpy beginning! If you read 750 chapters and hate the story even after investing so much time into it, then you may burn me alive!

Young Master's PoV: Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day

"Now you see?" she shouted in a tone that was somewhere between annoyance and disappointment. "You can’t outsmart Scrients! They’re the most intelligent beings across the two realms!" "You’re right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a solemn sigh. "I made a mistake. I was arrogant to think a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "...Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I’m not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait! You can’t. I killed them all." --- My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid and pointless scuffle. And in the middle of it, I tripped and smacked my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in… Memories of a different life. Memories of another world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First: I was inside a game I used to play in my past life. Second: I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool, mysterious, tragic kind either! No, I was the worst kind of cliché — a spoiled, insufferable, and arrogant young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. You know the type! The one everyone hates. The one the hero would beat into the ground to show everyone just how strong and righteous he is. Yeah. I was that guy! My fate was to be a stepping stone for the main characters, be manipulated by a Demon Prince, and die a dog's death. And the hero? The hero was the same kid I’d been bullying all this time. The one I just got into a fight with. He was supposed to be the savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And waiting at the end of it all was the final antagonist. The unbeatable nightmare. …The Spirit King. But could I even make it to the end? Could I really survive in a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that had now become my reality? “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could. But I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, altering the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains long before they could become threats — nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected by my actions? Excellent! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me. My survival. My life. My choices. “I’ll live this life with no regrets.” ...But as I soon discovered, fate wasn't so easily changed. And the price of rewriting your destiny was steep. ========== Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VjFQtDUaTR
