Chapter 1Drake Reptilion Prime

I tried to move but I realized it was only my consciousness that was floating around in this void but soon after I calmed myself I sensed two other entities. One was kind of similar to myself. Both of us emitted a tiny speck of light.

The third being apart from the two of us was not comparable to us. If one was to describe this scene then this person would probably use the words a sun and two fireflies to give a valid explanation of this scene.

I realized that these two might be former living beings but as I had this thought the ‚sun' suddenly moved at a speed which I couldn't even understand. I thought only the fastest of my planets' airplanes could achieve such velocity.

After the ‚sun' moved it became clear what it was: A dragon, a dragon whose size let the Mount Everest look like a small hill. The dragon unfolded his wings which seemed to cover the entirety of this void and started to speak.

"I am the immortal lord and ancestor of all dragons, the noble Drake Reptilion Prime."

These mighty words echoed throughout the void and seemed to be able to traverse every distance.

The dragon continued speaking in a way that reminded me of prophetic words in some ancient religion. "He who has given his life to save one of my children shall be remembered for all eternities to come. Tell me little one! Which is the name your honorable self is named."

I just stared at this gigantic being and wondered: was I dreaming? Did I hit my head?

The dragon laughed and said in a now way more amiable manner: „no little one, this is reality. Oh, I truly have to apologize. I usually read the minds of every creature I meet because they are not worthy to talk to me but since you were ready to give your life to safe one of my children I will allow you to talk to me as an equal."

I needed a few seconds to analyze what just happened. After some time passed I just blurted out „wait a moment!!! You are the father of a snake?!? That is not possible!" these were the thoughts of a scientist who loves biology.

In my head I added „just like the existence of a dragon" and I wanted to slap myself because I forgot that he could read my mind

When the dragon heard this his face formed a sad smile. But right after that he started laughing. I didn't understand and looked quite perplexed which caused the dragon to explain.
