Chapter 86: S4 Redemption: Reconnecting

Aden Clarkson

He guides Sophia out to the middle of a makeshift dance floor, then draws her back into his arms. Holding her in his arms again soothes the beast inside him.

Dancing, his body sways to the music playing.

Sophia rests her head against his shoulder, and he takes in her familiar scent. It feels good to be this close to her again, to feel her pressed against his body.

A small sigh slips past her lips, and she laces her fingers through his curly hair, which is something else he finds he has missed.

Aden guides her across the dance floor. Gently, he takes hold of her right hand in his, then brings the tips of her fingers to his lips, kissing each one.

When the song changes to something a bit more up-tempo, Aden spins her around before him. "You look beautiful."

Her cheeks warm, and her face reddens. "You don't look so bad yourself."

"Then I take it you approve of the tuxedo." Aden draws her back into his arms.
