Sheyi Bell was just an unassuming video-game YouTuber, obsessively crafting pixelated kingdoms and cities in niche simulation games—until the Cosmos plucked him from obscurity and thrust him into godhood. As one of the newly ascended deities, Sheyi is granted dominion over a planet teetering on the brink of collapse: a world ravaged by apocalyptic decay, its population dwindling by the hour. While the other gods despair over their doomed realms, Sheyi sees chaos as a blank canvas. Armed with the irreverent creativity of a teenager and the strategic mind of a lifelong gamer, he vows to treat this cataclysmic wasteland as his ultimate sandbox. But godhood is tedious bureaucracy, and Sheyi’s attention span is… mortal. Can he outwit celestial expectations, reverse entropy through sheer ingenuity, and turn a dying world into his playground—or will the cosmos regret handing divinity to a bored kid who’d rather *play* god than *be* one?

Chapter 1Chapter 1 - New Gods

In a white almost blinding room, 180 individuals stood in front of an old man with long green hair, the man stood on a podium, and his white garment was so clean that it reflected light of it, the man had been standing in front of the crowd for a minute without saying anything, he was simply waiting for the crowd to calm down.

Seeing a man with green hair which was extremely weird for some of the individuals standing in the room not doing anything they began to shut their mouths, it was like an unknown force was advising them to keep quiet or face divine punishment.

Seeing the room become quiet the green-haired man nodded with a clap drawing their attention "Took you guys long enough, in case you don't know those mere hours you guys spent in petty conversation is actually a year in the outside world and you could have spent that year bettering your planet" the man said with an amused smile on his face when he saw the confused look on their faces.

Before anyone could ask the green-haired man continued "Ohh, am sorry, I forgot no one told you about your current situation, well I could have if you guys had quiet down a long time ago, making this old man wait you guys really have balls, tck... Anyway, My name is Lord Brenie, and am a Tier 4 celestial being but simply put A God" The man could hear gasps across the hall.

He could quite relate with them since he was once in their shoe, but he had a job to do and he needed to get it over with as soon as possible, they had already wasted some of his time, well for a god the concept of time was irrelevant but he still had things to do.

"Before any of you ask any stupid question, let me tell you firstly this is not a prank and yes gods truly exist, and the more time we waste here the more difficult your job will become, so just keep quiet and I will explain everything as fast as I can" the room because quite again earning a nod from the man.

"So as I said am a Tier 4 god, well to be honest am not even up there in the ranks, as Tier 4-C gods, am a stellar god, meaning I have the power to create/destroy small stars, Each god tier has sub-tier from E to A, you will found more information about that yourself later so let's continue, there are a total of 5 Tiers in godhood from Tier 5 to Tier 1, words of advise if you ever meet a Tier 1 god please do everything in your power to please him or else" the man made a gesture of a finger across his throat.

"I know must if you might be wondering why am telling you all this, well it is simple the Cosmos has deemed you fit to join the path of godhood, meaning every single one of you is now a Tier 5 god that I will assign a random planet to, so if I can get a volunteer to come deep his hand into this jar here to pick a planet at random I will very much appreciate," the green haired man said but no one move, how could they when a while ago they were in their world either enjoying their lives or on their death bed.

"Sigh... I know you all are still skeptical about every word I just said, well you would be morons if you weren't but you will find out in due time so, young man with the pointy ears standing in front, I believe your races are called elf right, come and pick a planet" the man pointed at an elf standing in the forefront of the hall, the elf body moved on it own as he walked towards the green haired man with fear on his face.

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.
