Life of a Kobold

Of all the things I expect myself, dying at a young age is not what I expect.

I did my best to avoid any dangers that come into my mind, like staying healthy by eating a balanced diet, workouts, and study more about the dangers of the world.

But, to think, the reason of my death is because of trying to save a kid from getging crushed by a falling crate.

I'm pretty sure my body was squished into a literal bloody pancake. I wish that I didn't have to die for saving a little girl, but then again, it's better me than her. Compare to me, she has a longer future than me.

I wonder what happens to my parents, did they grief on me when I died? I wasn't exactly a prodigy when it comes to academic like my siblings. They aren't bad parents but they do seems to favor them more over me.

Then again, I rather not complaining. I'm dead now, so worrying about them won't help me at all. Right now, I really need to focus on my current condition. I can feel grasses touches my fur whenever I twitch

I got up in panic before starts checking myself in confusion. I try and fail not to get panicked as I saw white fur on my paws-!

I have no problems with furry as I am not a guy who judges people for their hobbies. I mean, I like cute stuff like Pok*mon and P*lw*rld. But, some furries give me an uncomfortable vibes with how much they hornily sexualize their fursonas.

I turn around and sure enough, it's a tail reminiscent of a husky. So, I'm some sort of a dog furry, then that means.....

I try to use my nose and I immediately regrets it. The smell of grass, dirts, shits, fruits, and body odors stabs my nostrils like a sniper bullet and straight into my skull. It was overwhelmingly painful and I don't even know if those words really suppose to use in a same sentence.

I immediately looks around the area and I found a river. I decided to look into the surface and turns out, I was more than a furry.

I was a kobold, a Japanese's interpretation of said creatures. But, not just any kobolds, the design is similar to one popular game that came out few years ago and took the world by storm.

....I still cringe at the unoriginality of the name, but it is cringe enough to fool most gamers that it's a mid game. In reality, it's far more than just a normal game.

It's a VR game, something that was just trending a year before the game releases and a lot of company tries and fail to create a game that is perfect for VR until DF cames in.

The graphic is amazing, no bugs, the story is original compare to most fantasy settings, the gameplay mechanic is different compare to most games as it is 10% gears, 15% stats, and 75% pure skills.

It is a game that forces you to learn technique physically and martial arts to just be good at the game. Basically, yiu don't need to worry about not getting enough exercises as the game alone forces you to do that.

Most of the players hate the mechanic s at first but when they try it, they end up loving it as the game didn't suffer from powercreep and meta shift.

I did try the game once or twice, but it was limited in a public VR game center as I ain't from a wealthy family. No way I can get that much money to buy full VR sets.

And in that game, the first beginner monster we face are Kobolds...

I just realizes how fucked I am!!! Kobolds are beginner friendly mobs but it provides shit tons of exp, especially when you killed enough and gain Kobold Hunter title where you got extra damage dealt and exp bonus.

Second, I need to know more about what type of Kobold did I turn into. i played the game and I know a lot about the game compare to average players, but I never seen a brown-greenish Kobold in my gameplay.

is fodders, and the game says it has 4 evolution path, there's Red, which is mage, Blue, which is Tank, Black, which is, assassin, and Gold, which is a mix of 3.

It sounds cool at first, but they are still cannon fodders compare to average players.

Before I could try to forgot this embarrassing momen in my life, I heard a roar and a squeal before a giant boar that came straight out of a horror movie popped out of nowhere, snorting and preparing to charges at me.
