Sorry for very, very late update of this but I was lacking motivation on writing this story for a while.

Why? Well, I've been playing FGO for a while to grind some SQ to roll up either Morgan or Altria Caster, or any of the month's special campaign servants...did not get any of them. 😢

'...This is so weird.' Dang Yang thought to himself as he looked at himself in the mirror, looking at a face he just got to know from his new memories.

With short, spiky auburn hair and vibrant, expressive black eyes. He has a lean and athletic build, which made sense from the original's memories that he was always involved in physical activities.

His facial features were quite delicate, with high cheekbones and a small nose. As he had just finished taking a bath and drying himself, he wore a simple outfit consisting of a plain white shirt and dark shorts.

It had been a day since his Martial Soul Awakening and he wasn't able to fully examine himself and explore more of his abilities and plan out his next move until now because he ended up so mentally exhausted with everything that happened to him that he fell asleep as soon as he reached his bed.

Dang Yang frowned and leaned closer at the reflective mirror, deeply pondering, 'Is it just me, or do I somewhat resemble Shirou Emiya? Was me pulling EMIYA yesterday a coincidence?'

After a moment of thinking he laughed it off, "Ha! Yeah, right. The pull would've self-destructed or turned alter if I really resembled his younger self."

Dang Yang looked straight back at the mirror and inwardly said,

'I wanna make sure of something...Status.'

Dang Yang let out a shuddering breath of relief, all doubts that the system was a hallucination or a dream gone.

He quickly notices something besides the two servant classes, and thinks,

'Synchronization? What does that mean? Does it mean their powers and skills are steadily becoming my own or something?' Dang Yang hypothesized as the system didn't give any info as to what it was. 'But why is EMIYA's synchronization percentage higher than Shiki's?'

He thought about it for a moment before shaking his head.

'Whatever. The important thing is trying to find out how to gather up Saint Quartz and figure out the other functions.'

'Since I've already got two servants' class weapons installed as my Martial Souls, the once locked functions are opened so I should look into the quest options.'

'And, Soul Prism? A replacement of Mana Prism I presume. Since Soul Prism and other exchangeable items are only available in the Shop, I'll check it out later after I check out the other quest lines available for me.'

To say Dang Yang was shocked, was an understatement.

He was just one breath away from screaming at the top of his lungs in excitement.

'They have dragon kings as items in the shop?! And Soul Bone, Soul Spirit and Soul Ring? This system is seriously insane!' Dang Yang thought to himself, already imagining what he could do if he had those kinds of resources.

The problem right now however, was getting the necessary currencies to buy them.

'It might take a while, but that's all right! I've got a lot of time, and as a gamer myself, I will spend hours or even months trying to gather enough Soul Prisms or Rare Soul Prisms to buy these.'

Dang Yang splashed some water onto his face, cooling his excitement, and looked up at the mirror with a calm expression.

"If there is a will, there is a way." Dang Yang deeply said.

For the first time in both his lifetimes, Dang Yang couldn't help but look forward to school tomorrow.
