A 24-year-old man named Michael Chase, who drops out of high school to work as a construction worker after his father's death to provide for his family. Michael has always had a passion for acting, and he spends every free moment auditioning for roles, but he never seems to catch a break. One day, while walking home after another unsuccessful audiotion, Michael suffers a severe accident and falls into a coma. While unconscious, he experiences vivid memories of his parallel selves, living out different lives in different dimensions.
