Chapter 1

"If feels so good to be finally out of secondary school" Emmanuella said while hugging her bestest "I'll miss you girls" Mary said and they all engaged in a group hug "Get off" Nobilat screamed cause she hates hugs and only agreed cause it was their grad "okay... that's enough ooo, you girls should have cake" Ella's mum said "Give me the chocolate cake na" Mary said cause she loves chocolate "I want the vanilla flavour" Precious said and at that moment, Ella smudged the cake icing on their faces and they all started smearing each other's faces and Ella screamed "DA DIVAS 2k23" and they all threw their graduation caps and laughed "I'm going to miss you girls" Ella said to no one in particular. "Ella, let's go home" Her mum screamed "Precious, get in the car" Ella said and they all said their goodbyes and left for home.

In the evening Ella was looking through the videos her dad took during the graduation and her eyes watered. "Sis how was it with your girlfriends throughout school" Her cousin asked with piqued interest "I love story time" Ella said plugging her phone, grabbing a pillow and started telling the story.

***Flashback***

Ella's POV

"Mum,I don't want to go" I cried again because I was an introvert or so I thought, I just started having friends err...I had just one by the way "See, Ella there's nothing we can do. We just have to move, you can still communicate through WhatsApp" My mum said losing her patience.

***Present***

"Long story short, I cried but we still moved and I got to this school, it was smaller than my former school and there weren't much students" Ella said laughing at how she looked at the school on the day she was showed the school "Okayy... can I get the rest" Gift asked expectantly "I'll continue but for now, to bed" Ella replied with a small chuckle.
