KING OF BOUNTY HUNTERS IN ONEPIECE (DROPPED)

The breeze carries fine drops, each one a promise of the rain to come. As newly chilled air moves the clouds, streaks of brilliance break through from the sun. I let my eyes rest for a moment, feeling the ambiance of the street, the heat of a patient sun, hearing the sounds, taking in the aroma, and letting my brain be still. Then, when I want to see, it's as if I just arrived here, beamed in from some other place and time, able to see clearly.

After enjoying these fleeting moments, and feeling my surroundings, I opened my eyes trying to see for the first time, after experiencing several traumatic events, which lead to my current circumstances.

And by god, at last, I could see properly. For a second I thought I might had become blind. Thank god for being able to breathe as well.

Putting these aside and struggling to turn my head around, I saw that I was in a bed, and around me, there were several other smaller beds with babies either sleeping or crying in them.

EH... wait a minute, if those are babies then does that mean... that I am a baby as well...

No, no, no that doesn't make any sense at all or does it...

A daring idea passed through Jimmy's head.

Perhaps this might be the fabled transmigration that I've read about, rebirth in another world or the past or future, from weak to strong, lying low, then starting slapping all the faces and getting a harem of ice jade beauties.

A stupid grin was plastered on Jimmy's face but after a few minutes of fantasizing, he came back to himself.

I shouldn't get carried away yet, maybe I am just high on drugs in ICU, just hallucinating and all these babies might be doctors or other patients lying around.

Plus thinking about it in more depth even if I've died, it wasn't in a conventional way, which is by the infamous Mr. Truck, but rather I passed away by some horny teens stabbing me to my likely (?)death, so even if I was reborn in another world maybe I wouldn't have the expected protagonist aura which might put this rebirth on the hell difficulty.

While I was fantasizing in my head, I saw something which gave me a shock as well as confirmed my doubts, a 10 out of 10 blue-haired babe was coming in, but, that wasn't the part that shocked me, it was the fact that she had two huge building protrusions just above her brows.

As far as I knew we humans didn't have those protrusions, that seems more like horns on their head.

Throwing my hands above my head I tried shouting "HELL YEAH"

I feel so happy and liberated, dancing while laying on the bed, just thinking about the endless adventure and opportunities that I might have in this new world. Plus even though my previous life didn't suck like the other protagonists, I had a hefty student loan of 300k, and no girlfriends or even close friends.

Furrowing my brows, thinking about the only thing that makes me feel kinda sad is my parents and siblings missing me since I had a pretty loving family but yeah I shouldn't worry about that as much since it's already done at this point and I probably can't ever see them again... unless this world might have magics or universal travels.... well let's calm down first.

I should plan out some short and long-term goals and strategies:

Firstly, I should figure out what type of world I've been reincarnated in. Is it a high, low, or no fantasy, or perhaps it might be a sci-fi world?

Secondly, would be learning the language, Third on the list would be getting along with my parents, Also integrating into the local culture is an important step as well. Then at that point, I could decide about my future path and actions.

While Jimmy was in deep thought and put his hand under his chin, the blue-haired oni nurse had already noticed Jimmy's unusual behavior and was smiling at the baby's antiques, going into a multitude of emotions and gestures. Shaking her head she went to check on the babies.

A few days have passed since jimmy realized that he have been isekaied, while the nurses were bringing jimmy to his parents they noticed the intense furrowing of his brows causing them to giggle.

Ignoring the nurse's weird behaviors in the past few days and thinking about all those step-by-step planning that I've been doing in the past few days, makes me feel like a villainous alien invader.

I know that I already decided not to be a knight of justice anymore, but I just can't abandon my morals and ideals in a short amount of time, so I might have to change them at some point depending on further situations and understanding.

It seems while I was in my thoughts we have arrived at the palace already, getting in the room I saw something that I am pretty sure that I wouldn't be able to forget for the rest of my life.

The duo, in front of me, who were supposedly my parents, were so wonderful and comical that I would never have thought as real if I was still in my previous world.

My mother who was standing at three meters tall, with pinkish red skin, had a few eye-catching features, which were her two horns and a super jacked body like a Greek god.

While my father looked like an exact replica of one of my favorite characters in my previous life "Louise Armstrong" except instead of Louise's cleft chin he had a sharp gigachad-like one.

For a moment I thought they might be statues like the ones made by paraffin in my previous life, however, remembering the large figure of the oni nurse who seemed to be from the same race as my mother I came back to myself.

Taking a deep breath I tried to take a better look at my parents, looking past their comical appearance I noticed, they have a rather sad and serious faces while talking with the doctor.

Apparently talking about some important matter, which piqued my curiosity, alas, I shave yet to learn the common tongue of this world.

Pulling myself together, and according to the previous plans, I have to leave a good first impression on them so, I tried to make myself as presentable as possible by, pulling out the brightest smile that I've ever done in my life.

My parents seemed to notice my and the nurse's presence and looked in our direction. Their sad looks instantly faded, and they started to pounce in my direction and tightly hugged me to near suffocation.

After a minute of hugging and me trying my hardest not to pass out, they eased in their show of affection my mother holding me in her embrace and calling my name, which by some karmic coincidence was Jimmy again.

I don't know if it was my new parent's affection that calmed me down or me being a newborn and easily getting tired, but I went to a deep and relaxing sleep for the first time since crossing into this world after days of excitement and nervousness.

While my lashes were getting heavier and my mind relax. Events of my past life were going through my head for the thousandth time, but this time in a calm manner.

Reminding me, not to take life for granted

not showing misplaced and undeserved kindness

not sticking my nose in places where it doesn't belong to

and most importantly to live a free, unstressed, and unbound life

savoring every moment of it

This is a new world, so I am going to build a new life with the new me.

That shall be my creed in this life.
