Match 1

Match 1 Kaiya Nariko "Bullet Ant" vs Yaturo Gojira

The roaring audience and hyper enthusiastic Sayaka Katahara caused the entire arena to shake. She was hyping everyone up with her introduction. Kaiya was in his pit, doing some light stretches as his sponsor lit up a cigarette. The feminine man watched his fighter before looking out the other waiting area across the ring, as if he could see the storm brewing over there.

"Can you not smoke before my match, please?" Kaiya said somewhat sternly as he finished his warmups, tugging on the tight, form fitting shirt he was given, company logo emblazoned on the back.

For once, his boss complied, putting out the cigarette on the wall as he blew the smoke away from his fighter. "Alright you need to listen to me carefully Kaiya I may not have chosen this fight for you but it might be one of the best fights you can get." He puts a hand on his fighter's shoulder. "From what I gathered this man is the definition of beef, all strength, no speed so do what you do best." Akira had not witnessed any of the matches, he had no interest in the Kengan association until this tournament, making all his data second hand. "Try and hide all your moves to give you the edge later on.

"Why did you pick so high if you want me to conserve?" Kaiya asked as he watched the announcer whip the crowd up into a frenzy.

"Because they had an open bar on the ship and I wanted to indulge myself!" Akira yelled in annoyance before adjusting his skirt. "Anyway...I'm sure you got this anyway, just try and conserve yourself, I know you can take a hit but blowing your load this early will spell disaster for both of us." His phone buzzed a bit as he checked it, grimacing a bit. "...Shit…Alright Kaiya change of plans…"

The lights dimmed as the spotlight began to shine on Kaiya's waiting area, causing Akira to groan in annoyance. Kaiya quickly tuned out Akira as he listened intently for his entrance, tossing him his hat as he prepared for his grand reveal.

"In this corner we have two newcomers to the Kengan Association. He may be small but he packs one hell of a fighting spirit! These others may tower over him but as the old saying goes, the bigger they are the harder they fall! Standing at 152cm and weighing 63kg, will he prove to be the David against our resident Golaith? Representing newcomer Naoki Chemical Industries we have The Bullet Ant, KAIYA NARIKOOOOO!"

His theme music blares as Kaiya awkwardly walks out, he had never been in a tournament before and he had no idea how to showboat. The roars die down into an equally awkward applause and cheers.

Meanwhile on the other side, the sounds of chains could be heard from deep within the waiting area. One man looks at the other well dressed individual with both confusion and fear. "S-Sir do you really think this is a good idea?" The meek man said as he looked up at his boss.

"Fear tactics and showmanship get you the farthest in here!" He heartily laughs with a sick grin. "Even if this somehow ends up being an issue it's nothing a few greased palms can't fix." He tugs on a few of the reinforced steel chains. "Let's show them why he is The Annihilator."

The lights redirect to the entrance opposite of Kaiya, the audience going quiet. "And his opponent, the living reincarnation of the Goliath! This man has an unbroken forty win streak, each one of them ended when he brought his opponent to a grizzly end! A man who has beaten some of Metsudo's own bodyguards in a single hit! We all know him, most fear him! Will he bring devastation to this biblical fight, stomping on his opponent like an ant!? Standing at 220cm and weighing 195kg, representing WB Wagyu Beef we have The Annihilator, YATURO GOJIRAAAAAA!"

The crowd goes wild as some...cows...step out of the gate, something that spreads a wave of confusion throughout the arena, the excitement dying down along with the entrance music, the CEO, Jin Tonga, his sinister grin ever prevalent as he dragged the cows along by a chain. The announcer was a bit stunned by this spectacle as murmurs spread through the crowd. Jin somewhat aggressively snatched the mic away, turning to the audience. "These are three WB Wagyu Beef certified livestock bulls, each one of these creatures weighs over 1,000 kilgrams and this…" He gestures to the entrance as a behemoth of a man steps through the entrance, body covered in chains that tethered him to the cows. "I figured a demonstration of both our product, and fighter is in order." He snaps his fingers as the meek man scurries out from behind Yaturo, armed with a cattle prod. He begins to zap each bull, sending them into a scattering frenzy, the chains on the fighter pulling in each direction. Suddenly, the chains snap taut on the fighter, shocking the audience as Yaturo remains unmoved.

"Why don't you take your position Yaturo?" Jin says into the mic as he looks his fighter over. With a slight nod Yaturo slowly starts to walk forward, unhindered by the cows he is now dragging behind him. The Goliath stops at his position, the cows pulling against him. Jin lets out a bit of a laugh as he produces a key from his pocket, moving over to unlock the restraints on the fighter.

Yaturo jerks away from his sponsor, letting out an aggressive groan as he brings the manacles crashing against his forehead, the steel groaning as it gives way to his might, chains clattering to the ground as the bulls are released, scattering for the exit as the man with the cattle prod attempts to wrangle them.

Jin lets go of the mic, walking off with a satisfied smirk, leaving the CEO on the other side of the ring shocked by the display that caused the crowd to erupt in a cacophony of screaming and excitement. He looked down at his phone as he lit his cigarette. "This guy's a monster, one wrong hit and I'll be scraping Kaiya off the wall." He looks up at his fighter, a somewhat sadistic smirk cracking across his face. "I guess I'm going all in on you in the first round manlet. You better net me some massive returns on this one." He steps off the stage to watch from the top view.

Kaiya was shaking in his spot as he looked up at the monster he was facing, his eyes darting between his opponent and the area the cows escaped to. "I...I...I want to pet those cows…" was all he could muster as he slowly got into his stance. "But first….this will be the fight of my life!" He could not stop grinning as the excitement began to overwhelm him. Yaturo however seemed unfazed as he looked down at his small opponent, he did not think about prizes or the thrill of battle. He had his eye on a much bigger prize, something that would hopefully come out as this tournament unfurls.

The referee steps out, standing between the two fighters. Kaiya was in a low stance, a friendly but excited grin plastered on his face. Yaturo however stood in place, a giant with no stance, just brute force. Kaiya watched the man, just from a glance he could tell one wrong move would spell disaster, he needed to play it carefully.

"Take your stances!" The referee shouted as he glanced between the two of them.

"BEGIN!" He shouted as his hand came down, the crowd roaring with excitement before silencing itself as they prepared to see who would make the first strike.

Kaiya shot himself off, sliding in close using some kind of footwork. His smirk still present as he throws a simple jab. Yaturo however, isn't having it as he brings his foot up, attempting to stomp on the smaller man. Kaiya however, prepared for an attack. The jab being a weak feint to draw the behemoth out. Using the same footwork Kaiya slides back, avoiding the stomp that cracks the arena floor.

The crowd starts to roar with excitement again, the fight finally underway, way up at the top the two CEO's watched their fighters down below, a small wheelchair bound girl with long silver hair gripped the railing in front of her, watching the two intently.

"You think your brother has this?" Akira asked as he lit up a second cigarette. The girl didn't respond however, she continued to watch intently. Jin looked over at the girl, currently smoking his own cigar.

"AND YATURO HAS OPENED UP WITH A STOMP, EVEN AN ATTACK AS SIMPLE AS THAT HAS PUT CRACKS IN THE ARENA FLOOR! BUT KAIYA SEEMS TO HAVE SPEED ON HIS SIDE, DODGING THE ATTACK! WILL THAT SPEED SAVE HIM OR WILL YATURO BOX HIM INTO A CORNER?!" The commentator yelled from her seat.

Kaiya slid to a stop a short distance from Yaturo. "Alright so you don't seem to have any hidden tricks, you got some major power. But I got something on my side!" Kaiya speeds in once more, using his footwork to slide around. "Grandmaster called this move Skitter, I'll never understand her fascination with crabs but this shit works!" Kaiya drifts past a second stomp using this, delivering a hard low kick to the back of the knee. Kaiya slides back a bit after the kick, stumbling a bit at the last second. Yaturo, however, was unfazed by the kick.

"Hits like that no work." Yaturo finally spoke, his voice deep and booming from behind the bandana. "Fighters break when they hit me...you will too." He slowly started to step towards the small fighter, Kaiya's spirit and excitement unwavering.

"Every monster has its weaknesses, I'll just have to tear through yours big guy." Kaiya shifted a bit of weight off his leg for a moment, the damage wasn't anything major but he needed to be careful of his strikes from now on, one misplaced hit could mean some broken bones. Kaiya used Skitter to move in again, trying to see if he could spot some kind of weakness.

As he got in close Yaturo threw a right uppercut, his timing had improved watching Kaiya use his footwork. Kaiya had to act fast as the swing closed in, the timing of it catching him off guard despite his preparation for an attack. He slid to the side, tensing his muscle a bit as the hit brushed his right arm slightly, the sleeve of shit shirt tearing from it as he was knocked back slightly by the force.

"AND YATURO FINALLY GOT A GRAZE IN, THE GOLIATH SEEMS TO HAVE DAVID ON THE ROPES, That KICK EARLIER BARELY FAZING HIM! HOW WILL KAIYA RESPOND TO THIS MOUNTAIN OF A MAN?!" Sayaka slammed her hands down as she commented.

Surprisingly, Kaiya's right arm was not busted up, but it was pretty bruised where the sleeve tore. "I had to use Shell just from a graze…" He rubbed his arm and looked up at the man. "What the hell did they feed you? Shell isn't that great of a defensive move but that wasn't even a direct hit!" Kaiya yelled as he returned to his normal stance, a plan slowly clicking together in his head. He knew he needed to end this fast and precisely, otherwise he would never last. First thing first, fuck up his strikes.

He darted in, slowing down a bit to change his timing. This man can learn but just how much of it was repetition? As he got in close Yaturo went in for a haymaker with his left. Kaiya's reflexes kicked in as he ducked low under the punch, using the momentum of the punch he attempted an improvised version of Coconut Breaker, attempting to rotate the large thumb to snap it.

Yaturo's hand suddenly jerks back, giving Kaiya an opportunity. He latches onto his wrist tightly, using Yaturo's momentum to fling himself at it. "Ghost Crab Style- Riptide!" He had always wanted to do that, just like some anime character. He raises his foot as he aims for a strike to the giant's throat. Kaiya is forced to quickly disengage, jumping off right as a hard right hook swung by his previous position. He slid across the ground as screams of excitement echoed through the crowd.

"AND KAIYA WAS FORCED TO DISENGAGE OR BE TURNED INTO A RED MIST FROM THE ANNIHILATORS FISTS? HOW WILL THE BULLET ANT TAKE DOWN THIS MOUNTAIN WHEN ONE HIT COULD SPELL DEATH?!" Her voice brimming with excitement from this rousing fight.

Akira took a long drag from his cigarette. "Looks like your fighter is more than just a wild animal, when push comes to shove he can be a bit clever. Too bad he doesn't have proper training." He exhaled as he looked over at Jin.

"What can I say Naoki, I only want the best of the best for business. My company aims to be the best after all. What made you enter this tournament anyway, you won your membership a few years ago and never did anything with it. Why start now?" He took a puff of his fancy cigar, a smug aura radiating off of him.

"Well I don't really need to grow my business, we are doing just fine for what we have. But...I don't know something about the way he fights caused something to click in my head...know what I mean?" Akira leans against the railing, taking another drag from his cheap cigarettes. "I know this kid could take me far so I figured it was time to bet it all on him." His slightly twisted grin returned. "And I couldn't have asked for a better way to show my power early on. You aren't the only one with a monster Tonga, he may be small but he has a few tricks up his sleeve."

Jin also had a grin as he turned his attention away from the fight for a moment, looking at the two. "Well if her condition is anything to go off of I don't think your "monster" can go very far."

The wheelchair bound girl let go of the railing, dents in the spots she was tightly gripping. "We have names you know. I may be in this chair and he may be small but don't underestimate us. Kaiya can take on anyone." She spoke as she kept her eyes on the fight."

Akira let out a bit of a laugh. "Settle down Mayu we are just talking business.." He gives her a playful pat on the head, causing her to groan.

Jin's eyes locked onto the dents in the railing for a moment. All she was doing was gripping it and she managed to do that much, at her small size? Maybe there was more to all of this than meets the eye. "As great as Yaturo is he isn't just a fighter to me. That kid has been through hell, hopefully this tournament will get him a bit of closure." He takes a puff of his cigar. "Sometimes you need to draw out the worms before you can catch them after all." He said somewhat cryptically.

Kaiya was building a major sweat from all this movement, but Yaturo didn't have a drop on him.

His hit and run tactics would start to run out soon, especially with how little damage he had done to the monster. He had two moves that should do the trick but the easier one should work first. He darted in again, throwing light feints and jabs to goad the fighter as he slid around the muscular brick wall, hitting him lightly to make sure he didn't break his hands.

"Enough!" Yaturo yelled as he threw a jab, the Ox-Slayer in a downward strike at Kaiya. It was fast, faster than anything else he had thrown. Kaiya's reflexes kicked in as he jerked back, the jab grazed his torso, tearing through both his flesh and the tight shirt he was wearing as the fingers dug into the ground, leaving Kaiya with a nasty gash on his chest. Despite the pain Kaiya needed to use this opportunity, it was now or never.

Pulling out his full momentum he slides past Yaturo's arm and quickly delivers an elbow strike to his ribs just under the armpit where the muscle is weakest. The sound of bones cracking echoed through the silent shock of the audience, Kaiya quickly disengaging and putting some distance between them as Yaturo removed his hand from the floor.

"AND THE BULLET ANT HAS FINALLY HIT HIS MARK! I CAN'T BELIEVE HE MANAGED TO AVOID THE LEGENDARY JAB LIKE THAT!" Sayaka slammed her hands on the table as the crowd went wild.

Meanwhile Kaiya looked at Yaturo in confusion, his elbow hurting but otherwise unfazed. "I just broke at least one rib, how are you still standing?" He looked with slight bewilderment.

"Don't feel it." Yaturo replied bluntly, looking back at Kaiya, a slight confusion could be somewhat seen despite the bandana. The spot that Kaiya struck had already begun to turn black and blue.

Kaiya used this slight reprieve to quickly remove his tattered shirt, his torso riddled with scars, enough to match Yaturo. "So you can't feel pain…" He paused. "Incredible! This is the kind of fight I have always been waiting for! Enough of those shitty bar fights and thugs who think their hot shit give me a real challenge, give me competition!" He returned to his low stance. "Give me all you got Yaturo Gojira! Whoever walks out of this fight will show the rest of these fighters what a real challenge is!" Kaiya was overflowing with excitement from this battle, this was everything he wanted and then some.

Yaturo paused for a minute, bewildered by Kaiya's display. He had never seen someone act like this, especially towards him...Not since Jin. It wasn't hostile either, a mix of excitement, and friendly competitiveness. It was...nice. Too bad no one could see the slight smile under Yaturo's bandana. "Very well...Kaiya Nariko. Do not die in this battle, I will hit as hard as I can." Yaturo put his fists up for the first time in the entire fight, his bulging muscles screamed death for anyone coming into direct contact with them.

Kaiya sprints in, Yaturo meeting him halfway with a couple steps. Kaiya keeps changing his pace, trying to do his best to stop Yaturo from getting proper timing with Kaiya's movements. Despite this Yaturo began throwing punches and hooks, Kaiya avoiding them as he threw kicks and light jabs at any weak spot, inner elbow, back of the knee, his injured ribs. Nothing seemed to work though, the punches kept coming with the same lethality as ever.

As Yaturo threw a right hook Kaiya decided to take a gamble, he rolled under it, his left arm getting grazed as he used Skitter to push forward, the sound of bone cracking echoed again as the crowd went berserk. Kaiya's left arm had already started swelling from that glance. His injuries seemed to be mounting fast but the extent of them would have to be assessed later.

"AND IT LOOKS LIKE KAIYA HAS STARTED TO CHIP AWAY AT YATURO'S DEFENSES. BUT WILL THESE CHIPS BE ENOUGH TO CRUMBLE THE FORTRESS? OR WILL THOSE INJURIES BE TOO MUCH FOR HIM?!" Sayaka cheered.

Yaturo looked at his broken right thumb, the finger bending at a weird angle at the knuckle. He quickly stepped in unleashing another jab at higher speed than before, aimed right for Kaiya's head.

Maybe it was luck, maybe it was skill but whatever it was Kaiya managed to barely dodge the strike, the fingers digging into the ground once again. Kaiya didn't waste time using the man's tree trunk arm to swing himself up, sending him behind him. "You may feel a little Pinch." Kaiya says before striking his deltoid muscle a couple times with the pointer and middle finger on his hand, as soon as he lands he slides away, getting some distance, Yaturo's bandana falling to the ground as Kaiya escapes, the scars all over his face apparent.

"KAIYA ATTEMPTED SOME KIND OF STRIKE BUT AS ALWAYS THE MUSCLE OF THE ANNIHILATOR IS TOO TOUGH TO PIERCE, IT LOOKS LIKE HE BROKE BOTH HIS FINGERS IN THE PROCESS!" The announcer spoke into her mic.

Kaiya was panting as he glanced at the two broken fingers. "I hope this paid off." He mutters as he watches Yaturo pull his arm out, struggling this time. The Goliath attempted to put his fists up again but surprisingly, his right arm just hung there limply. "Doesn't hurt…" He says as he looks at it.

"It wasn't meant to, that was a nerve bundle in your deltoid. That arm won't be usable for a while." He attempted to move his fingers, wincing. "Two fingers for your arm, my gamble paid off." He returned to his stance. "I won't lie...I can't keep this up much longer. We better end this quickly."

"Fine." Yaturo said, his smirk visible for the first time. "We will end this now." He put up his working arm, looking like it was time for him to pull out his ultimate technique.

"I gotta be honest, you are a lot smarter than I thought you would be, like way super smarter." He said as he tried to compliment his opponent while trying to buy some time. "You figured out my timing and got some good reactions in, no one has been able to do that. That's some serious wit, respect." As soon as the words were out of his mouth he took off at his opponent, ready for his all or nothing.

"AND IT LOOKS LIKE KAIYA HAS DONE SOMETHING TO YATURO'S ARM, BUT THAT DOESN'T SEEM TO HAVE SLOWED DOWN THE STRONGEST MAN IN THE TOURNAMENT! WHO WILL WIN THIS BIBLICAL CLASH TO KICK OFF OUR TOURNAMENT?!" The crowd erupted into chaos as the fight entered its climax. From the stands the CEO's clutched the rail tightly, the deciding factor at hand.

"They really try and oversell it."Akira said, taking the last puff of his cigarette.

"I wouldn't say she's far off." Jin replied, tossing what was left of his cigar to the side. "We both found ourselves some real monsters."

Kaiya did his best to keep on the right side, trying to find an opening. Yaturo was getting into his element however, a true fight, a real chance of loss. The monster hadn't had this feeling in a long time. With a quick jerking motion the limp arm shot at Kaiya like a whip. With little time to react Kaiya blocked using his left arm, gritting his teeth in pain. This was far from the full might of Yaturo but the force was still intense, sending Kaiya skidding back. This was the opening Yaturo was looking for. Every muscle in his body tensed up as he threw his ultimate attack with his left, The Demon Flail.

The force of the attack was immense. Every fiber in Kaiya's body knew that attack would end him if it made contact. This was just what he needed. As the hook got close Kaiya let his body relax, sliding out of the way a bit as he gripped Yaturo's wrist, the sheer force and momentum of the punch letting out a loud Boom! Kaiya was yanked along with ease, sending him flying upward with the natural momentum of the punch.

"TAKE HIM OUT KAIYAAAAAAAAAA!" Mayu screams with all her might, the sound of her voice overtaking the roar of the audience, Kaiya hearing it over the indiscriminate cheers.

The sound of her cheers gave him the push he needed to drive his exhausted body beyond. He needed to win this fight now. As he swung up in the air he let go, drifting mid air for a second as he hands tightly clenched Yaturo's shoulder, Kaiya's iron grip digging in.

The crowd went silent for a moment as the two fighters let out a pair of animalistic warcries, Yaturo starting to fall back a bit as he planned something. Kaiya put every ounce of energy he had into this, using the momentum of swinging plus Yaturo falling back he drove his knee into the back of Yaturo's extremely muscular neck. A CRACK echoed across the ring as pain shot up his knee and through his body as his knee made impact with the mountain of a man, the muscle holding for a second before giving way as it drove into the back of his neck.

Yaturo seemingly paused for a second mid fall, Kaiya dismounting and sliding back, only to fall to one knee as Yaturo smashed into the ground. The audience paused for a moment, waiting to see what plan Yaturo had. After a bit of stillness the referee made his way over to check on him.

"WE HAVE A WINNER!" The ref announced as the crowd went wild.

"I DON'T BELIEVE IT! DAVID HAS BEATEN THE GOLIATH! ONE OF THE STRONGEST FIGHTERS IN THE HISTORY OF THE KENGAN ASSOCIATION HAS FALLEN TO OUR NEWCOMER, KAIYA NARIKO!" Sayaka screamed into the mic trying to speak over the crowd. "WHAT A POWERFUL FIRST MATCH IN THIS HISTORICAL TOURNAMENT! THIS SHOULD SET THE STAGE FOR WHAT'S TO COME!"

Kaiya attempts to stand, the pain in his knee subsiding slightly. "Fuck...that was an improvised Skittering Tree Toppler." He holds his left arm, pain still apparent. "If that didn't go as planned I would be a smear right now." He pants a bit as the medics make their way out along with Jin Tonga following after them. The collective effort of the entire medical squad was nothing before the unconscious beast.

"I have to thank you Mr. Nariko." Jin looks down at his unconscious fighter. "While I can't say I'm happy about the loss I can take solace in the fact that Yaturo will come out of this okay." He pats the fighter a couple times, Akira Naoki stepping out from the entrance, Jin looking back at him as he motions to the scars riddling Yaturo's body. "You know when I found him he was like a wild animal, beaten, bloody, and practically feral. I helped stitch him up and put him to work killing our cows for beef." He laughs a bit. "His muscles and speed were enough to put us on the map, I actually owe my business to him." He crouches down a bit. "So...thank you."

Akira walks over and pats Kaiya. "Well hopefully you can keep that business growing." He offers Kaiya a shoulder. "But for now this dude needs rest and repairs." Akira starts to haul him away as the behemoth starts to rise, confused and dazed from the strike, much to the surprise of everyone else.

"Yo!" Kaiya yells as he tries to turn around. "I better see you later Yaturo, that was one hell of a match, we have some training to do after all this is over!" He moves away from Akira for a second with a stumble. "You have got to be one of the smartest fighters I have ever faced." He offers a hand.

Yaturo pauses for a minute as he looks at the hand. Judging by everything going on around him he had lost the match but he felt...good. He slowly takes Kaiya's hand, the two of them engaging in an extremely tight handshake. "Yeah...lets do that later." He says with a nod.

Kaiya nods back as Akira starts to drag him away. "You better, it's what friends do!" Kaiya was dragged out to the medical room by Akira, leaving Jin and the rest of the medical team to help Yaturo up, escorting him there as well
