Prologue

A young man can be seen floating in the void along with the remains of large boulders and pine trees. The young man did not have any movement, looking very tranquil. He could be mistaken as a very delicate, and beautiful work of art.

Looking at his appearance, he is tall, with light muscular build, similar to around 21 year old, however, his real age is only 15. He wears a black hoodie, compression black shirt underneath, black pants with matching black boots. He has long silver hair which reaches all the way to his back, and currently unbound with bangs parted to either side of his face. What's unique is that his eyes were covered by a black cloth.

The young man suddenly jerked his head, similar to being awaken from deep sleep. Then he realize that he's still in the same place, the dark void, the young man could only sigh in frustration, as he have been stuck in this place for almost 7 days now.

At the beginning, when I first entered this place, using the pieces of boulders and trees, I tried to chase and follow my family, but a few minutes, their presence had gradually faded until I'm unable to sense them anymore.

No matter how much I exerted to move forward, still hoping to catch up and pick up their present to continue the chase, but I noticed that the same scene, same rocks, same pieces of trees over and over again. Now, I'm in a loop, looks like I wasted my time trying to exert myself to move forward.

Since I'm unable to make any progress, I stopped, still calm, and immediately get to thinking on what to do next. Then I noticed that the energy in this place is abundant, much more thicker than back on Earth. If I can devour 1 unit of energy back on Earth for one whole month, here, the amount ten times and for only a the duration of a single day!

Surprised at first, I am delighted because with this findings, I might be able to use this to get out of here. With renewed vigor, I released the full capability of my body's devouring ability. The cultivation that my sensei's thought me should be able to display maximize my devouring ability..

With the activation of 100% devouring ability, wisp of energies started gathering within Shin's body. Like a hungry beast, all energy that entered his body disappears, like a bottomless abyss. Day after day, he continued absorbing energy, only stopping to try to move out of the place to escape, but in the end, nothing..
