A Hero’s Quest
Avione Yvestte is a cautious 16 year old girl in high school living alone in a cramped apartment. Her parents died when she was 8, and her mother’s sister took her in. Life is all good not until 4 years later and her auntie got married. Her uncle has a daughter from his first wife and they are both the same age. This supposed-to-be cousin of hers bears ill intentions to her. Since they attend the same middle school, she became jealous to Avi because Avi’s beautiful, nice, and responsible. Her jealousy gets extreme when she confessed to her crush and gets turned down right away because the one he like was Avi. She made Avi’s life miserable whenever her father and her step mother wasn’t home. She often push, slap, and kick Avi whenever she sees her. She would always say, “You’re an eyesore.” and beat the hell out of Avi. Avi on the other hand, would often lock herself to her room to avoid conflict if her auntie would see her bruises. She’s very thankful for her auntie because she took care of her for 4 years, but she guess that 4 years was enough, and it’s time for her to leave. Her auntie has her family of her own now. Without further ado, she took her things and left without saying anything. She found herself a cramped apartment but it was nice enough for a little girl who was living alone to live in, and it is just the kind of apartment she can afford with her savings. She’s 12 now but she’s sure that it’s hard for her to find herself a job because of her age. She aimlessly walk around the city to find a job to support herself from now on. At the end of the day, she found a poster hiring for a dog-sitter. If the dog will like her, she’s hired. It is stated in the poster she randomly picked up. So, she followed the address and who knows, she might be hired. In times of need, no need to be picky. Only taking care of a dog? How hard can it be? She thought. When she’s nearing the said address on the poster she heard a lot of screaming coming from it. She frowned and stopped walking but suddenly a huge dog came out of the gate and rushed towards her. She stiffened and her heartbeat accelerated. What the hell! What breed of dog is this! It’s so big and it’s coming at me! What should I do? She panicked inside of her mind but her body remained stoned in the road. Her mind wasn’t even clear yet when the dog pounced at her. She closed her eyes and thought, “I’m dead!” but a few moments later she found out that her face is wet. Stickily wet. She opened her eyes slowly but closed it again because the dog is licking her face! After that incident, she got hired and her salary is quite nice. She lived comfortably for 4 years. When she’s about to continue her studies because she saved well enough money from her dog-sitting job, a stray blinding light flashed before her eyes and she got transported to who knows where.... “Hero! Please save our village!” a handsome thin young man appeared in front of her and bowed until his head hit the ground heavily. What hero? What village? Why is there a three head fire dragon here? Is this still earth! Mom, I want to go home!!!!!!!!
