Chapter 32: Reunion

~Albus POV~

*Munch*

"Mhhm."

Good sandwich.

Taking some time off searching for some good food or a good sandwich to finish it all up I began to walk around Argus searching and viewing the area.

Have to admit it looks pretty good…

If it weren't for the glares I'm receiving as well as some dirty mouths about me but I didn't care.

But I did do some shopping finally getting a Scroll and laptop for me to use.

A Scroll is an object that functions as a collapsible, holographic tablet. It can be used as a phone, a portable computer, a camera, and a streaming device as well as a gaming controller, among other functions.

During combat, it is able to gauge a user's Aura and depict it as a life bar, along with those of the user's teammates.

The Scroll is clearly more advanced in some ways than contemporary handheld devices.

Visibly, they are nothing more than a translucent, touch-sensitive panel between two solid end grips; the interlocking design of these grips allows the unit to be collapsible, much like a scroll of paper, hence the name.

Each Scroll has a yellow, diamond-shaped button in its center when the device is in its closed state.

The user presses this button to unlock the two grips and deploy the screen. This button also flashes when the Scroll gives an audible alert, such as when a new message has been received.

Scrolls appear to come in two different sizes. Small Scrolls can deploy to be approximately the size of a smartphone, while large Scrolls can deploy to be the size of a medium-sized tablet.

It appears that the size of a Scroll's screen is adjustable by how far apart the user pulls the grips. Scrolls can be opened horizontally or vertically, though it appears that the widely preferred orientation is horizontal for large Scrolls and vertical for small Scrolls.

Scrolls are shown to have a range of sensory and interfacing functions, such as relaying information from surveillance devices in real-time and monitoring the Aura levels of multiple people at once.

Several icons at the top right of the display hint at Internet-style browsing functions, such as Home, Search, and Mail. There are also folder icons, indicating that the device can be used to store data.

The 'mail' function has been shown to access voice messages as well as display short text-only messages, similar to the real-world SMS system. Scrolls also seem to function as keys to other places.

Really a marvel of technology here for all of this to be made possible.

Now then how about I take some sightseeing views of this place.

"Gym huh?"

Searching around the place I happen to find myself around a Gym of sorts supporting people that know how to fight as I was slightly interested in the place as I began to go inside.

Entering inside the Gym seems to be people working out with Aura meters showing up on the screens as I see the attendant talking to me, "Hello there sir are you interested in joining up to the sparring match. Or are you a Haven Student looking to train up the gun show!"

She gestures to the gun show showing off her muscles as I looked at mine being lackluster but I so see a small tournament happening today as I saw over the rewards just more money-based ones.

Nah.

Shaking my head I began to leave the area for a bit since this place was off.

Meh.

My Ultimate Eye told me there were just a bunch of scammers so no use worrying.

With that, I began to leave the area for a bit as I saw no point elsewhere.

"… Now people please listen to the words I have to say…"

Wait a minute…

I recognize that voice…

Going over I heard a voice I was quite familiar with as I proceeded to see the sights and behold I was right it was another White Fang meeting again as I saw Ghira around with Sienna trying to rally up support.

"Please for the people of Mistral we – "

"Shut up you animal!"

"Yeah!"

Afterward much of the negativity started in Argus of the rally of the White Fang meeting as I shook my head seeing a person taking out a gun.

*Swoosh*

Stopping the person I began to glare heavily at him getting extremely agitated at him, "Dude what the fuck!"

Glancing at me he began to dismiss me as I still held a grip on his gun as he tried to talk back, "Tch. A filthy animal lover are ya? Why – Owowowow!"

Gripping my hand tightly at his arm I gave him the death glare for him to shut up as he flinched back as I used destruction alchemy to destroy his gun as others around me got the picture, "Don't you dare fucking start. Heincal, Jasmine, Rose…. I know where you all live… don't make me do something you'll regret in the future."

Using my Ultimate Eye and naming everyone by their first name haven't before met knowing I know where they lived gulped as they steadily flee back, as I sigh in relief.

"Albus is that you?"

Hearing another familiar voice once again from the crowd of people now being dispersed I see Ilia again after some time as I talked, "Why hello again Ilia I see things have been difficult within the fang and rallies. How's it been."

Laughing lightly she began to talk to me again like old pals as she spoke, "Haha… Could be better but at least we are trying to improve our rights. I see you don't have that tattoo again?"

Right forgot at the time I needed one before but not now.

"Ilia there you – who are you?"

And my day gets even luckier as I happen to meet one of the main cast and her age is starting out to my surprise.

Blake Belladonna at the age of 13 years old guarantees that it is 4 years behind the plot but more so in her early years of the White Fang with the getup and everything like a grunt.

Smiling at her I began to talk to Blake in a calm tone addressing myself to her, "Sup. The names Albus Burn I'm a friend to Ilia and some White Fang group I helped patched up in Higanbana Village."

Blake does take caution towards me but did ease up as Ilia doesn't have anything against me as she replied back, "Hmm… ok. I'm Blake Belladonna nice to meet you… Albus Burn?"

Nodding at that I see the people soon became done with talking of rallies with only some Faunus around to stick to Ghira's words as I view this, "Ghira really wants to make changes for the Faunus huh?"

Ilia responded to me my words with a hopeful voice in it as she spoke, "Of course he does. He does all he can for the Faunus but…"

Glancing around I see people with glares as I sigh at this shaking my head, "But the people won't accept the change that easily. Especially in racist kingdoms like Mistral, Atlas, and Mantle. Vale and Vacuo sure but definitely not these three kingdoms."

Blake heard my words and seem to narrow at them as she spoke out fiercely, "But High Leader does what he can to all Faunus though! What can a human understand!"

Ignoring her completely at that question since I for one don't know.

Racism is really an ugly thing.

Waiting for the rallies to be over I began to observe everyone as the White Fang group are coming down from the ground I went ahead to greet Ghira, "Hello again mister Ghira. A pleasure to meet you again and thanks for paying my medical fees."

Turning around he finally saw my face took a few seconds till Ghira smiled at this when he recognized me, "Ah! Albus right? Been a while since we meet it's a pleasure to see you again. How's your journey across Mistral doing?"

Laughing nervously at that I began to talk to him with Sienna listening in as I get chummy with Ghira, "Hahaha… Let's just lots of shit happened and I came back stronger for it. But I do own a truck now so an improvement. How're things in the White Fang."

Grinning at the changing subjects he began to talk to me about how things went down for him after we parted Higabana Village.

After burying his fellow Faunus in Menagerie he continued on his work to help the Faunus with his White Fang organization wanting to co-exist with humans with his rallies and take down of Faunus labor camps.

And to my genuine surprise he patted me on the shoulder when he explained to me about the Faunus I slaved from those traders, "And also Albus I'm quite glad you managed to save those Faunus that you saved at Snowfork. They clearly addressed a human with an identical eye like yours who saved the Faunus from slavery. Thanks for that truly."

Blushing in genuine embarrassment I responded to what I felt was the right response, "Well… it was the right thing to do. Any good person would do it in a heartbeat."

"Hahaha!"

Ghira laughs at that as Blake listens into the conversation as he grabs me by the shoulder as invited me for dinner, "In that case how about you like to join us for some company. You can explain further what happened. And hey the offer to join the White Fang is still open you know?"

Hmm…

Considering my situation though….

Shaking my head a bit about joining the White Fang I did provide another option, "I'm not sure about joining the White Fang. But… I can provide some assistance for rebuilding and purposing homes if you need it."

At this, his eyes looked bemused at the idea as maybe I can't join the White Fang but I can help it's development.

Here's hoping for the best.

Maybe I can ask Ghira to unlock my Aura as it's about time I get that unlocked.

And his my best bet to get one.

I personally can't wait to know what my Semblance is.

Ok anyone wants to take any guesses about what is the MC semblance going to be?

And what will happen when he has Mana when his about to have his Aura unlocked?
