Clearing up confusion on Familiers

The bonded animals basically act as DnD familiers, so when not wanting to bond with and animal or let them run free the creature basically enters into the shadow of the human.

So for the guy with the mammoth most of the time the mammoth is in his shadow and when needed it can exit it upon command.

So no there isn't a bunch of creatures just wandering around at the north right now, sorry for the confusion.
