Follow the life of Nils Zatras after he is reincarnated (against his will) by the god who manages the Earth in another world where magic, peoples, monsters and beast from fantasy are the things the most common. To help him to live (and survive) in this new world, god offers him the <Anime System> (among other things). I'm not an english native and i lack in spelling, grammar and vocabulary so please don't trash me too hard for this, a french version (i'm french) of this novel exist so if this version is too unreadable you can try the french version with a translator, it will maybe a less horror show than this but i'm not sure^^. I don't own the anime and manga characters and powers showed in this fan-fic, only my poor writting and broken english. Cover is not mine as well.
Life has not always been sweet for Nils, his parents died when he was 4 in a tragic car accident, by some miracle the young boy was not in the vehicle with his parents during the accident, he was in the hospital under watch after an influenza. Since this day, Nils's life become like hell, he was adopted by the sister of his father, Richard Zatras, the deceased father was what we could qualify as rich man, the only heir to this fortune was Nils since Richard's wife, Elise, died with her husband in the car accident. Sophia Bliss, the paternal aunt of Nils adopted her nephew only for his inheritance, so it's in a family without any love for him that he grew up.
In addition to his grief for the disappearance of his parents, Nils had to face the blows and insults of his two cousins as well as the beatings of his uncle for no other reason than his natural wickedness. Nils became gradually colder, both in expression and in character, he became detached from the world and showed progressively less expression on his face. Nils grows up to become a very handsome boy and that did not escape his aunt.
When he was 12 his aunt began to use his body to satisfy her sexual needs due to the fact that her husband could no longer have an erection, the fact that her nephew become more and more handsome as he grew older and her own preferences for young boys that she discovers in herself after several years of marriage make him the ideal choice for her to satisfy her needs. Sophia also used his body with her unsavory friends to gain various benefits and to climb the ladder on the professioal level. Nils showed less and less emotions and felt nothing but disgust for anyone than him in his entourage.
During all these years in these conditions, his only hobby was to read manga and watch anime, it was for him a way to escape this life, to dream and imagine him in these different worlds and participate in the thrilling adventures of these different characters in these worlds that look so interesting even if sometimes very cruel and filled with horror and sadness.
It was only after he reached 18 and the majority that his adoptive family decided to take action and get rid of him to be able to touch the inheritance, after of course having made all the necessary for the inheritance falls into the hands of Sophia. Sophia burned her own house with her nephew and her husband inside, the fire was made up by her lover to appear to be accidental. Nils died in terrible suffering burned alive, which put an end to his existence on Earth but it was not counting on a certain god who became fond of the poor young man and this is how Nils arrived before Niverus, the god of the Earth.
Nils is now in an endless white space, there is nothing, just white, no wall, no ceiling, no floor just an infinity of bright white. "Where am I? I remember dying in a fire right now." The memory of the pain caused by his burning flesh gave Nils a shudder and a sweat on his back. While Nils is waiting he does not know what himself in this whiteness, an elderly man suddenly appears before him and begins to smile at him like an idiot. After a few moments when neither of them speak and the old man continues to smile at him, Nils finally decides to talk to him. "Who are you and what am I doing here?" Two questions and yet no emotion on his face or in his voice. "I am Niverus, I am for you mortals what you could call God and to answer your second question, you are here because you died and I decided to reincarnate you," Niverus told Nils with a frank smile and a nice expression.
"No thanks."
"Why?"
"Death is a deliverance and it suits me very well."
"Do you think that because your life was cruel and without joy or happiness, death is better?"
"Indeed it's my reasoning."
"Do not you think that by reincarnating, you can have a happy life and experience a lot of different emotions and that when you will be on the verge of death, remembering your life make a smile appear on your face and then you can tell to yourself that you have had a good life?"
"It's possible but it's also possible that it will not be the case and that my life will not be better than this one and even that it could be worse, so now let me die please ."
"Uh ... you see ... the thing is that since now you've been in this room called '<The room of reincarnation> you have to reincarnate, it's ... that's the rule you see hahahaha ..."
"Is it not possible to circumvent this rule?"
"No, once a mortal enters this room he is forced to be reincarnated because the process has already begun, oh and you will receive the <Anime System> that I especially created for you. Well how do you want to reincarnate? In the body of a baby in a happy family or in the ... " before Niverus could finish his sentence Nils cut him off.
"In a body that you create especially for me, age 18 and since you created it, it will obviously have no background, family, friends, or even known of this world."
"Yes, of course, it will be a brand new body that never existed before you came into the world <Morillias>, I sincerely hope that you will enjoy your new life."
The body of Nils then begins to glow sign that it will soon disappear from <The Chamber of Reincarnation> and start his new life in the world of <Morillias>.
"Oh it's true I forgot, there will be two packs in the section <pack> in your system, one is the beginner pack given automatically by the system yo you and the other one is my gift for you, it will be a lottery ticket to use in the <lottery> section in the system so even I do not know what you will gain hahahaha, I hope that what you will have will be useful for you. And try to enjoy this new life."
And on these words of Niverus, Nils' body disappeared from <The Chamber of Reincarnation>.
