just need a opinion about something

Hello everyone, so this days I've been thinking about what I would do about my novels/fanfics. But as a person I have a major problem that is overthinking things to the extreme. Every time I have an idea I end up overthinking it for like hours and mess up. But earlier today I realized something, while I was having a billion ideas to do in this fanfic and my original novel, I was trying to keep a balance of ideas, let me explain this better. Some ideas of mine came from some games that I've been playing a lot, like Fromsoftware games in general, other novels etc and somehow I was able to make it in some very crazy and insanely amazing scenarios but the thing is, it is someone else's idea so I don't want to use it for my original thingy. So the one billion iq idea I had was not to make a action/romance novel, but a slice-of-life/romance novel, so I wouldn't need to get caught in this hurricane of ideas and conflicts. What I had in mind for this original novel is: It would be a Yuri obviously lol, our MC would be a girl (unnamed for now) that would really love sports, like fighting or something, I'm trying to come up with something different to make the character very unique compared to the other ones I've seen. The other girl also unnamed would be a transfer student probably, or just someone that was in a different class and with the passing of the year ended up in the same class (Btw, I don't know how schools work in the US but at least here in where I live everybody stays in the same class the ENTIRE year, in some shows I watched I saw people saying "oh she's from my chemistry class" and it always made me confused about it, it has being ages since I've been in the US or in any other country, con of living in Brazil passage to every where is like 2000 times more expensive than anything, and the money lost a fuck ton o value in this pandemic, 6 Reais is 1 dollar, it's just sad) this girl's parents want her to be a doctor or some very promising job, but she wants to be an artist and follow her dream.
