Early in the morning, Ding Yue, the Marketing Manager at Zhongyue Group who had worked through the night, yawned as she finally finished all her work at hand.
Hu Zhonglian's assistant, Kang Lian, had just come to the company to pick up a document for Hu Zhonglian and happened to run into her.
After exchanging greetings, Ding Yue complained, "Brother Kang, you're working overtime on the weekend too?"
Kang Lian, always cautious, nodded, "Yeah, if the boss doesn't rest, how can I, a mere errand runner, afford to rest?"
Ding Yue said with a smile, "You're still better off, at least highly regarded by President Hu. You have it easier than us, a group struggling just to pay off our housing and car loans... if we manage that before we die, we can consider ourselves lucky."
Before she could finish her sentence, Ding Yue yawned several more times.
Kang Lian chuckled, "Get some rest once you're done."
