You Are My Protagonist (BL)

Note: Volume 1 and 2 are two separate stories happening to different people in the same university. The characters intersect in one chapter. Then, volume 3 involves all three. Volume 1: Twenty two year old Ram has got it all, he's intelligent, athletic, social, and he's just been hired by a well known consulting firm. Life would be perfect...if his grandmother weren't ill and if his mother didn't think she'd be miraculously cured by him getting an Indian girlfriend on the premise of marriage. Still, Ram trudges on...until he meets Chen. Whimsical, openly gay, and following his dreams of being a novelist, Chen is the complete opposite of Ram. Yet, he has nothing to do with Ram until a sudden accident brings them together. Volume 2: "I'll be your eyes." Ever since elementary school when the soft spoken brunette said that to him, looking very like the model of a super hero in a comic book, Jason hasn't been able to forget it. And as the seasons changed and everyone faced the inevitable phenomenon of "growing up" Jason kept his slowly failing eyes desperately trained on his hero, following him through high school and onto college. Now, a senior about to graduate, will Jason possibly be noticed by his hero? Or will his love life fail just like his eyes slowly turning blind... Volume 3 Chen isn't crazy. At least he doesn't think he is. But he considers the characters he writes about real, very much so. He wants his boyfriend to understand this but it's harder than he expects until he and Ram join the literary club for their annual camping trip and...he, Ram, Jason, and Arev are sucked into the world of his books.

The Walking Dead: Reborn as Leon Kennedy

In a world ravaged by the undead, one man stands tall amidst the chaos. Meet Leon, a survivor like no other, armed not only with his skills and determination but also with a secret weapon: memories of The Walking Dead show. As he navigates through the horrors of the apocalypse, Leon's mind is filled with vivid images and strategic insights drawn from the beloved TV series. He knows that in this brutal new reality, the greatest threat lies not in the hordes of the undead but in the darkness that resides within humanity. With unwavering resolve, Leon uses his knowledge to forge a powerful society, a sanctuary amidst the ruins, where the weak are protected and hope thrives. Drawing inspiration from the show, he understands that survival is not just about physical strength, but about unity, trust, and the indomitable spirit of the human race. ----- [Why It Was Canceled] ----- Update: Failed experiment of mine testing the utilization of ChatGPT in producing and writing a novel. The consensus was that ChatGPT wrote each chapter as though it was the end of the story, cramming in lines right at the end about hope and humanity and all that junk. This brings up another point, without even bringing it up the AI seemed more inclined to spread positive morals and messages unprompted. As noted by some readers, the constant spewing of such subjects ended up feeling too artificial. On a side note, I attempted feeding in one of my drafts for a different novel without prompting the AI to do too much to it other than editing and optimizing it and the results were relatively positive. It kept most plot points and refined them with minor tweaks, like the addition of vivid descriptions and detailed character processes. Never did it feel like the AI was hijacking the story as it didn't try forcing in ideals of hope and morals, instead like intended, it only edited and optimized my story. Consensus, ChatGPT is ideal for editing a story and not creating one from scratch. Even feeding in the AI an outline to follow doesn't exactly work as the AI ends up hijacking the story to come up with some vague ending or continuation that leans on positivity and hope thanks to its procedure to stay away from dark topics. Only very minor mistakes were made by the AI in editing, like how it sometimes confused he/she or that it rarely gets confused as to whether the story is in first person or third. Nothing too serious that can't be cleaned up by Grammarly or a careful rereading to make sure everything's alright.

Anna was very satisfied with what she saw. She was organising a big party for her son and two of his friends who shared the same birthday. She and the other mothers, Helen and Suki, had spent the morning decorating the rOom they had hired. It looked wonderful with all the streamers and balloons. Helen, who had been a wheelchair-user since an accident some years previously, had also been busy in the kitchen preparing a fabulous spread for the children. "All we need now is the entertainment group," said Suki. "They're meant to be really good and they'll hopefully keep the children amused for most of the time." "I certainly hope so," laughed Helen. "We all know how easily a large group of excited little boys can get out of control." It wasn't long before the room was filled with noisy and increasingly unruly children. Anna and her friends were getting worried. The entertainers should have arrived an hour ago. Anna's mother approached the group holding out a mobile phone. "Anna, your phone's been ringing. You didn't hear it because of all the noise." As Anna listened to the message, a look of horror spread across her face. "The entertainers have been involved in an accident. They're all OK, but there's no way they can get here for the party," she told the others. "What on earth are we going to do?" "Well, there's a piano over there. I can play some party music," said Anna's mother. "You can't play the piano, Mum," laughed Anna. "Oh, I've been having lessons for a while," replied her mother. "And I've been taking lessons in magic at night school," Helen joined in. "I think I can conjure up a show." "Well, thank goodness for all this hidden talent," exclaimed Anna with a great sigh of relief
