Where to put Waddles?

Lai Yiteng didn't wait long after Xian Wu had gone out to do more work. He took the wriggling pouch off his waist and set it on the ground. Then he looked around the room for a place he could temporarily make into a home for Waddles.

Then there was a large bed, two cabinets for storage of rare herbs and miscellaneous items. Papers were hidden away in many places, ones with writing and other scribbles that looked like calligraphy.

Lai Yiteng was a bit interested in what kind of things Xian Wu liked to do for fun, or what glimpse into the man this room had. It was Xian Wu's own sleeping quarters, after all. There must be a few things that told about his past.
