I got reincarnated with a skill book

Under the watchful eyes of the guard, Dave continued to walk outside of the palace. In his hand, he only had his office bag which was also transported with him to this world. He was doubtful whether he should have agreed to become a servant of the palace like the others who have been summoned to this unknown world.

' Serve those rude bastards! They can't send me back, and they want me to work as their servant after robbing me of my happy life on earth.' Dave clenched the lottery ticket in his hand, he found out that he had won the lottery just before he was caught up in a hero-summoning ritual.

According to the priest, this was a normal occurrence and they are sorry about it. However, when Dev asked them about what would happen to them, the officials told him to serve the palace as a ground soldier or a servant.

Dave became infuriated and lashed out at them which resulted in him being kicked out of the palace.

' I can't believe they have the gall to say that I am a greedy person.' Dave thought as he stomped outside of the palace gates with a red face. ' I am tired of the office life!'

Dave did not even look back at the palace as he walked into a primitive world. He saw streets made of stones and carriages being driven by people wearing the classic white uniforms of the drivers.

He didn't have the money that he could use in this world and also didn't know how to speak the native language of this world. He walked with so many things on his mind that he didn't notice the person who was coming from the front. He collided with that person and fell on his back.

" What the hell?" He swore loudly however soon gulped as soon as he saw the person who he had collided with.

It was a giant man with a bare chest and was wearing a golden robe with a hood. His skin was black and so was the colour of his scruffy beard. The man had eyes that shone in a golden hue and was looking down at him arrogantly.

" *******" The person spoke a language that Dave didn't understand.

" I don't understand, speak in English," Dave asked.

" You...Hero?" The person spoke and then tried to introduce himself " I..Priest..why...outside?"

" I am not the hero, although I am from another world" Dave answered and then added, " Sorry, I wasn't paying attention, now excuse me, I will be on my way,"

" You...are..a... transmigrator?" The black man spoke. " We..talk..can?"

Dave was currently sitting in a strange place, after leaving the place he met the person who wouldn't let him go for some reason. In the end, he dragged Dave to this place, and no matter how much he shouted no one came to help him.

However, the treatment here was not that bad, he was seated on a sofa while the servants were preparing tea for him. The only problem was that terrifying man sitting in front of him.

" You...do....privilege got...transmigrator?" The man asked again in a questionable tone. The man was able to speak English, and even though he made a lot of mistakes he was able to relay the message. However, this time Dave didn't understand what he meant.

" See...status...Speak Status" The man said gesturing for him to speak something.

' Is he asking me to speak the word 'status'?' Dave figured out.

" Umm, Status!" Dave spoke and suddenly a hologram appeared in front of him like a system window.

After seeing this Dave finally understood what the man was trying to say for a long time. In front of him was a status window that showed some information about him. There was something called a skill book in the items, Dave didn't know what that even meant and looked at the man for answers.

The man looked proud as if he was finally successful in teaching his pet dog how to shake hands. He smiled brightly and clapped his hands before he started speaking.

" You...see?" The man asks, to which Dave just nods. The man then gets up and goes towards a bookshelf.

The book was certainly a dictionary or something like that. The title of the book was written in two different languages.

' A guide to learning English' was the title written on the book cover.

" Why would I need to learn English? I am fluent." Dave asked.

" Learn...Our Language" The man answered.

" Oh," Dave realized what the man was trying to say, " Why are you helping me?"

" ...Because...need help." The man answered while pointing his finger at Dave.

Dave was allowed to stay with that strange man he met after coming to this world. He found out that the man was known as Bushche Morthar, he didn't ask anything in return and just came with various other language books.

In return, Dave also tried to help him with his English. He was a weird person who would always smile and was ready to help anyone. Dave felt grateful for the shelter and made up his mind to one day repay the favour once he gets used to this world.

The other day he brought a wounded man from the streets and helped him as well. Dave explored his mansion, several people were being given medical care in his house by the servants.

Those who were cured can leave anytime they wished. After a little research, Dave found out that Bushche was a priest just like the person who had summoned him here...and it surprised him, he hated the person who summoned him but not Bushche but this made him a little paranoid about his benefactor.

In this world, everyone was able to see a status window where they could see various information about them. There was also information about a person's class in the status window. He could only see his own, meanwhile, people like Bushche and that high priest were able to see the status windows of other people as well.

The people can gain a class after they match certain requirements. According to Busche, every transmigrator is supposed to have a class and he was unique for not having one.

Transmigrators receive a class as a privilege, however, he didn't receive any class and that is why he was treated badly by the people who summoned him. In their eyes, he was a failure only.

Later he also found out that the other people who were transmigrated wrongly were not asked to become servants like he was. They either got adopted by noble families or were sent to the academies to learn magic or swordsmanship.

Now he understood why others were not protesting as he did, they were informed about what was gonna happen to them, and since he was a failure who didn't receive the privileged class from the system, he was cast aside and offered the lowest position.

Finding this out was a huge shock for him, Bushche helped him because he pitied him... It made him sad, he was not someone that wanted to be pitied.

Others didn't seem to know that he also received a privilege in the form of an item and he now didn't want anyone to know. He would make sure to do something that will help him get back at the people who made a fool out of him and who considered him a failure.
