As the host, Quentin certainly did not want to leave his guests stranded. The man invited them to have lunch together while talking about many things, Arabelle also joined the lunch, but it was different with Marcella, who rushed to her chambers to give a gift to Lady Sera.
"What about the meeting earlier? Did it turn out well?" asked Arabelle innocently, asking Quentin, Toman, and Elmar.
Lord Helferich was silent momentarily; Toman and Elmar also looked at each other. Their meeting with Quentin arguably led to some disagreement; they refused to cooperate with Quentin to bring down the economy of Anselm and Murdheim.
Arabelle understood what was happening. The woman's senses seeing the awkward situation were high enough, so she reflexively immediately looked at Sir Dorren standing some distance away from the dining room.
