Yin of Oubure

"Hai Hai! Over here Ken!" Yin let out a loud hunting noise as he chased after the Buffalo Boar, a powerful pure rank beast. It was large and looked ferocious and menacing, but was running away in cower from only a young boy who looked to be wearing tribal clothes and had a small tribal tattoo on the side of his face that looked like a circle inside of a circle. He held a stick in his hand which tip was painted purple.

"Nice job luring it in Yin! I'll take it from here!" Ken yelled, jumping out in front of the wild Buffalo Boar out of nowhere before suddenly stabbing it in the chest with a similar looking, but larger purple tipped stick as Yin held.

The Buffalo Boars eyes immediately turned blue as it's body swiftly thumped onto the verdant ground of the jungle, sliding on the grass for a couple of meters.

Ken was also wearing similar tribal clothes, and had a tribal tattoo himself. He looked to be around 21 years old, which was 8 year older than Yin.

"We actually got it! Our first powerful pure rank beast!" Yin smiled with his teeth as he proudly walked over to the dead body of the boar and high-fived Ken.

"Now, how about we take this bad boy back home shall we?" Ken was smiling brightly as well. They both carried the boar on their backs and headed back to their village.

The Oubure village. A small place out in the middle of nowhere, located on the outskirts of the Ja' Jungle. It wasn't near any major kingdom, nor was it even big enough to be located in any map, but Yin believed that in spite of that, it was the happiest village around.

As they entered the rigidity wooden gates of the village, the warm atmosphere of the laughing village immediately engulfed Yin and Ken.

"A formation beast!? Well done you two! You will always be the stars of our village!"

A 36-year-old kind woman said with a smile as she walked passed the two kids.

"I knew you boys had it in you! Next, try and hunt down a rampage rank beast! Then you will be true men!"

"Hey, not a bad one boys!"

As the two made their way home, they were greeted by almost everyone they walked by. Everyone in the village knew each other, no one was a stranger. They were all like a family. This was why the village was smiling at all times of the day.

The two made it home, they lived in an orphanage with over 20 other kids who were around their age, most being there due to a disease famine spread by royals more than eight years ago. However, Yin and Ken had been there as long as they could remember.

As they walked into the semi-large bamboo building covered by a tin roof, the kids in the orphanage were overjoyed seeing the lump of hog the two were carrying on their backs.

"They actually did it! They killed a formation rank beast with no cultivation whatsoever!"

"Dude, I told you that they would. They are the prides of this village, who else could do it if not for them?"

One of the people in the orphanage walked up to Ken and Yin. A girl that was about the same age as Ken. Her name was Evlin, she wore a tribal skirt and had a peacock feather in her pitch black hair that flowed down to her shoulders which was adorned in colorful flowers.

"Good job guys. I knew you could do it!" She was soft spoken but clearly excited as she made her way to the two, holding her hands behind her back.

"Thanks Evlin, your wishes of luck were the only reason we managed to pull through!" Ken said proudly with a smile.

"Hey! That's not true! It was because of our hard work!" Yin was confused by what Ken was talking about. They didn't achieve this because of some luck, it was due to careful planning and action.

Evlin and Ken laughed it off.

"This will be enough to feed our orphanage for quite a long amount of time. The meat of a formation rank beast is highly nutritious, it will probably last over 3 weeks if used carefully. We'll leave that to you Evlin." Ken said, lowering the body of the boar to the ground.

Although they were only young adults, Ken and Evlin were the caretakers of the orphanage with Yin now starting to help them as well. They were the oldest, and had the responsibility of caring for all of the children from an even younger age. Due to this, Ken had learned how to hunt on his own, a skill which he later taught Yin. And Evlin was always the greatest chef when it came to cooking what the duo hunted.

As the three talked a little more, an almost forgotten, loud sound could suddenly be heard in the distance.

PUAWWW!!

The ear piercing howl of a battle horn. A 2 foot horn carved from the head of an Oxen Rhino, a rampage ranked beast. It was either used to declare war, or announce to an entire village that important guests had arrived. Only truly important guests could yield the ring of the battle horn. It was a sign of great power and influence.

Yin and the other's had only heard the horn once before in their lives. 8 years ago, when royals had found their village for the first time. To them, it was like finding a new vacation spot. They came, spread disease throughout the prosperous village, and left it to cinder away.

Thankfully, it had survived up until now by just a sliver. However, this familiar sound immediately brought traumatic memories to the minds of all present in the village that experienced those times 8 years ago.

"That's.." Ken didn't finish his sentence. He immediately started running to the village center, with Yin shortly behind him. Were the royals waging war? Did they finally have enough of this little village and want to take the land for themselves? Or was it another royal wanting to cause another famine.

Either or, Ken and Yin had to be present.

The village wasn't large, and the orphanage was near the village center anyways, so the two quickly made it to the village center. It was nothing more than a medium sized water fountain surrounded by a dirt road intersection on all four directions.

Immediately on arriving, they noticed a large group of people crowding around the fountain.

It was quite a large crowd, but Yin and Ken were let into the middle quite easily.

In the middle was a young man sat upon a brilliant black horse whose mane and stature made it look large and powerful. The young man who appeared to be in his younger 20's wore a lavish mantle on his shoulders and high-class clothing. He had blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Frankly speaking, he looked majestic. He held his head high and chin up, looking at the village-people below him.

Beside the young man was an older looking knight in metal armor whose face could be clearly seen. He was probably around 40 years old, his patchy gray beard poorly shaven, and his helmet in his left hand pressed against his hip with a battle horn in his right. He was also on a horse, one that looked similar to the first horse.

He neared the battle horn to his mouth.

"I hereby declare, that this village is under seize of the Reinharald Kingdom!"

Yo bros! How can you move onto the next chapter without adding this to your library!?
