Chapter 11 - Heaven

When the world's laws trembled after a Nirvana Immortal appeared, Heaven frowned.

That was not supposed to happen.

Heaven had made the God Realm precisely to prevent that from happening.

It seems like some uncontrollable matters were bound to happen whether he likes it or not.

Though Heaven didn't know how it happens, he knew he must eliminate that immortal.

Heaven stares at the gods inside the God Realm.

After years of progress, the seed of laws inside the gods had grown stronger.

More Godkings appeared between the gods after he brought back the first four.

There were also many High Gods, but the Gods were the ones with the most population.

Many immortals had ascended over the years, and Heaven planned to keep it going.

The appearance of that Nirvana Immortal could mess with the flow of the ascension.

If Heaven didn't eliminate that Nirvana Immortal, who knows how many more will become one. Heaven didn't want that.

Hence, after picking two of the Gods, Heaven triggered the seed of laws inside of them, and their face becomes frozen instantly. After that, Heaven sends the two Gods towards where that Nirvana Immortal was.

Heaven found his general direction after sensing that immortal's probing through the laws.

After doing that, Heaven went to inspect the world's laws but found nothing wrong. Retreating to the God Realm, Heaven tries to find where the leak could come from but to no avail.

With nothing to be found, not even a clue of how it happened, Heaven puts his focus on the two Gods.

After the two Gods arrived in the Immortal Realms, they immediately went to fight the Nirvana Immortal and kill him.

However, that immortal seems to have already known of their coming, and the immortal immediately greets the two Gods' colorful rays of light. It was the laws of the world.

Fiery red and dark brown rays of light appeared on each of the two Gods respectively. Defending from the colorful rays of laws.

In their stage, laws were the main form of battle. The two Gods were of different laws, one of them had the law of fire and the other one had the law of earth. They were already at the peak of God's stage and were ready to advance.

That Nirvana Immortal, on the other hand, was assumed to have just advanced to that stage, but he had somehow managed to wield laws from the world easily.

Since the immortal had just advanced, his sensitivity to the world's laws was at its best. Because of that, it was no wonder to Heaven that the immortal could utilize the world's laws in the vicinity perfectly. Since that ability was supposed to be something that only peak stage Nirvana Immortal started to grasp.

The immortal launched laws of different kinds and the starry void was filled with colorful rays of light.

The immortal had perfect control over the world's laws at the moment, making him the same as a peak stage Nirvana Immortal.

But it didn't matter, that immortal was being attacked by two Gods. He shouldn't be able to last long.

At least that's what Heaven thought.

However, the immortal seems to be able to defend himself. And was even able to fight back. Pushing the two gods back.

More and more rays of the law were launched into the starry void.

After a long battle, the two Gods were overwhelmed.

A few spells later, the fire god was the first to be slain. And just a few moments later, the earth god was also slain and Heaven lost his connection. His focus returned to the God Realm.

Heaven was furious.

He was about to send a High God to the Immortal Realms but something was preventing him from doing that.

It was the world's law. The barrier between the world seemed to be reinforced by the world's laws. No one above a certain level was allowed to enter the Immortal Realms.

In this case, it was the High God stage.

Back in the day before a Nirvana Immortal appeared, the Gods weren't supposed to be able to enter the Immortal Realms, but now, two had just entered.

Heaven realized it was the world's laws preventing a powerful outsider to enter a weaker world and creating havoc inside the said world.

Now that a native Nirvana Immortal appeared, outsiders on the same level were able to enter. Heaven had just realized this.

He was about to send more Gods, but the immortal was gone from the previous area.

Since the immortal had long gone, Heaven sends five Gods to scour the Immortal Realms for that immortal. He was thinking of sending even more Gods, but the world's laws prevented him.

The balance in the Immortal Realms would've been broken so much if the world's laws allowed that.

Five Gods was the maximum amount the world's laws allowed.

Soon, the five Gods were searching the Immortal Realms.

Considering how vast the Immortal Realms were, the five Gods split up in searching for that Nirvana Immortal.

Then...

Hundreds of years passed.

That Nirvana Immortal managed to slay one of the Gods.

Heaven knows about it the instant the God was dead. Hence, the rest four Gods instantly headed toward the area where the battle had taken place.

But the immortal was already gone by the time they arrived. Their position was too far away from each other.

And since splitting up one by one was not good, the Gods teamed up two. The area they were scouring for was reduced, but it's great since at least they would be able to fight that immortal properly.

But...

Another hundred years passed.

That Nirvana Immortal was able to slay two Gods quickly.

The first time that Nirvana Immortal fought two Gods, it could be attributed to the world's laws helping hand after the Nirvana Immortal had just advanced. But now, the world's laws were no longer covering for the immortal. Because of that, Heaven was surprised to see it the immortal could now fight Gods and kill them.

Rather than sending the rest two Gods, Heaven added three more Gods to fill in the empty spot and made them go together instead of splitting up.

Years passed.

Heaven had his focus on the five Gods when he felt the world's laws trembled more fiercely towards a region.

It came from one of the major immortal realms.

And Heaven frowned heavily.

This trembling from the world's laws was different from the previous one.

Something worst had just happened.

Even worst than when an immortal advanced to the Nirvana Immortal stage.

This time...

Someone had advanced to the stage after the Nirvana Immortal stage.

Other than that Nirvana Immortal from earlier, who else could it be.
