Chapter 27: Upset Stomach

Running along the grass, I'm forced into using more stamina then usual. Must be because the ground is soggy, making your feet sink in as you try to run. The fog is getting thicker, I think it's best to move up. The moustache guy keeps prancing along the ground as if it's the most easiest thing to do. I can hear Leorio complain about more running while Kurapika explains that it's marsh we're running on.

I occasionally hear some sort of crow crowing. Are crows supposed to be in swamps?

Killua: "Gon, Esther. Let's move up."

Gon: "Right. We don't want to lose sight of the examiner."

Killua: "I'm more concerned with increasing the distance between us and Hisoka."

Esther: "Who's Hisoka?"

Killua: "Number 44. He's dangerous. We shouldn't stay too close. I can smell it in the air."

Gon: "Smell? I don't think he smells."

Esther: "He means that he can tell that something bad is going to happen. It's intuition, a warning."

Gon: "Oh. Leorio! Kurapika! Killua says that we should move up!"

Killua: "What? Can't you feel the tension in the air?"

Leorio: "Moron!"

I can hear Leorio shout. He's seems to be very behind us.

Leorio: "If I had the strength, I'd already be there!"

Kurapika: "Don't worry about us!"

Esther: "Let's go, Gon."

Gon: "Ah, wait!"

Thicker and thicker, I can feel the fog getting more dense. It's becoming hard to see what's in front of me. I have a bad feeling. People are screaming all around us.

Gon: "I can hear people screaming all around us."

Killua: "Just stay on your guard."

Gon: "I wonder if Leorio and Kurapika are doing fine."

I feel like we stepped on something. The ground shakes. We fall into it. It grows dark, are we inside something? I can feel it moving, so it's alive.

Esther: "Is everyone okay?"

Gon: "Yeah, what happened?"

Killua: "Looks like we're inside something."

Esther: "Now how do we get out…"

KIllua: "Got anything that may cause an upset stomach?"

Esther: "Now that you mention it…"

I pull out a bottle labeled 'laxative'. That is the 3rd item I've made. I feel somewhat tired again.

Esther: "This will definitely cause more than an upset stomach."

Killua: "So you just carry that with you everywhere?"

Esther: "No. Just when I think I should bring it."

I open the bottle and start poring it all over the place. I can feel our surroundings start shaking. Water is rising up. I see a light. Wait…

Esther: "Oh man, I think it's throwing us up!"

We are spit out. I see a huge frog walking away. Must have been what ate us.

Gon: "Oh good, we're out."

Killua: "What else can you hide in there?"

Esther: "The whole world if I want!"

I laugh. Yeah right. I can barely even summon 18 items without feeling like a dead fish.
