Human: A Godlike D̶i̶a̶r̶y̶ Story

Gods. Mysterious entities born from the endless void or even from other gods. These entities are powerful, blessed with energy they control for the good of the cycle of life within the universe. Some gods are good, some "evil". In the end, they're just doing whatever they please. At the drop of anything, they could delete everything. They could even watch as mortals and other entities go insane as they play with their minds.

When the existence of gods was discovered because one of the elder gods born from the void gifted the mortals things, so did religion and worship of the might of these strange entities. That's when other gods started to appear from the void because of the strong, convincing minds of the mortals who wanted to believe. Thus, the god hierarchy was born. The eldest and wisest gods were the leaders. Other acceptances including power and popularity also were leadership qualities.

Soon after that, a demi-god was born. A mortal being with immense power was a preposterous thought. Soon, more demi-gods came and went. It started becoming normal, as it was another way to gain more believers. The gods did find mortals believing in only a few or even just one god at a time was hilarious. They even found mortals fighting over which gods existed and which ones weren't humorous.

They find it funny, because they all exist solely because mortals think they do. Well... not all of them are born from the minds of mortals and created in the void. Some are born from other gods. Or even other entities that have nothing to do with the gods... I know these things because I'm forced to see them every day. Different gods and even different entities that aren't human. Angels, demons, yokai, vampires and so much more.

They all exist. You may not believe me because you're reading from a dusty old book, but it's true. Everything, that you will read from here on out, really happened at some point in time before you and I were even thought of. I know these things first hand because I'm a servant of four gods and their followers. Not one that lives only to tell everyone about a new religion either, no.

I'm quite literally their servant.
