A black car stopped in front of a school. The door opened and an adorable pain in the ass with black hair leaped out.

This little bug is called Takeru. He is being sent off to suffer agonizing mental torture in a place called school by his aunt Sae.

Takeru turned to his aunt and waved "Aunt Sae, see you later!" And with a smile, he trotted to the school gates.

Sae just chuckled and closed the car door before driving off to work.

Takeru is at the very least, rational to use the body's memories to reach his classroom. And a minute after, he found it. Entering, he was greeted by the sight of more pain is the ass, aka kids, his physical age having fun in a very confusing fashion. The fuck? Is that kid eating paper? Oh gods what the hell is this girl gonna do to that poor boy? Why is she cackling like a madman?

He immediately turned away.

"Oi! Takeru!" He heard someone call. Turning towards the source, ignoring the questionable scream of intense pain by the kid dragged by the girl earlier, he was greeted by a kid with cowlicked brown hair and eyes.

Takeru recognized the person.

"How's life, Toru?" He smiled as the two high-fived. Well, more like low-fives. Oikawa Toru. He is one of his few friends and often talk to him about wanting to become an amazing volleyball player.

The two walked towards their seat and sat down. Just right next to each other with Takeru sitting at the, well, you know it, protagonist seat with Toru right next to him to his right.

The two started to talk about some volleyball shits. Toru talking about how being a setter is cool and Takeru talking about how girls in volleyball uniforms are amazing, making Toru confused. In front of them, a girl with gradient-red eyes and long back hair with one braid tied with a pink bow sat on her seat.

Toru noticed her and waved with a wide smile "Suzune! Good morning!"

Takeru looked at her and greeted while yawning "Morning, Suzune."

Horikita Suzune. The only female in Takeru's friend circle.

"Hn." She just nodded and just sat on her seat quietly.

And then the two boys resumed their volleyball talk. After 5 minutes or so, the teacher came in and class started.

Not even a minute in, Takeru blanked out. Tuning out everything else. He just sat there, silent. He often do this whenever he was bored out of his mind.

No judging. This sperm waste was an intelligent dude in his past life. Definitely unlike us degenerates who don't even know penguins have knees.

In the waiting shed beside a tree in a certain school four kids can be seen. One had cowlick brown hair, one with normal black, and one with messy black. The remaining kid being a girl with long black hair and a braid.

Currently, two are playing chess, the others just watching silently.

They are, as you guess it, Takeru, Toru, Suzune, and her brother, older than them by a year, Horikita Manabu. They met him when Manabu went to give Suzuner her lunch.

A year may have passed but nothing really changed much. They just grew up in height a bit. They are now in second grade, Manabu obviously being in third.

Takeru moved his knight, forking Manabu's King and Rook. Manabu moved his king immediately. Takeru then moved his bishop, putting the King in check. Manabu saw no more routes that would end in his favor and in the end, just surrendered.

While Manabu was sulking, Takeru just laughed like a certain person with god-complex and a black notebook.

"Hah! Noob!" Takeru smirked.

"Why do you always win?" Manabu glared at the smug Takeru.

"Brother- 0 Takeru- 68." Suzune announced as she added another line beside Takeru's name on a paper.

'Just one more.' Takeru thought.

"Hey! Did you guys see the trailer of the new Aluminum-Man movie? It was so cool! There are explo-" Toru began blabbering about whatever while Takeru just tuned him out.

Just then, a black car stopped outside the school gate, and Takeru could see him aunt waving at him from the window.

Seeing that, Takeru waved at his friends and ran towards the car. After taking another step, he turned around.

"You guys know where my house is, right? My birthday is tomorrow. You guys better come see me." With that, he ran towards the car and entered.

Sae began driving after seeing the kid put on the seatbelt.

"Did you invite them for tomorrow?" Sae asked.

"Yes. I don't know if they'll be able to come though." Takeru answered.

With that, silence ensued. Takeru stared outside, imagining a man parkouring through the electric wires.

Soon after, they arrived at the house. Sae went inside and went to her room to get changed with Takeru doing the same. After a bit, both went to watch some documentary about penguins.

"Aunt." Takeru called out.

"Hm? What is it Takeru-chan?" She patted his head.

"Can you teach me how to cook?" He asked.

Sae looked a little surprised at the request but nodded nontheless.

"Of course. I can even teach you now."

"I still have to do my homework though. Can we do it tomorrow?" Takeru asked.

"Alright."

""Happy birthday Takeru!"" His aunt, friends and their parents celebrated.

"Thank you." Takeru smiled.

Sae walked over, holding the cake to Takeru's level "Make a wish."

'I wish for a system that will make me overpowered as hell.' And with that, he blew the candle.

'and also possibly a cat-girl maid.'

The others clapped in celebration.

And then they began to eat, have fun, blah blah. Takeru also thrashed Manabu in chess, winning his 69th win.

After an hour, the others went home, leaving their gifts to Takeru. It was now dark, the others went home.

"You can open your gifts in your room. I'll clean this first alright?" Sae patted his head.

"I can help." Takeru said after looking at the mess.

"Don't worry." Sae shook her head and began cleaning.

Takeru then went to his room, the gifts on his arms. Closing the door, he put them on his bed and began to open them one by one.

Toru gifted him a volleyball, Suzune gifted him a black scarf, Manabu gifted him a chess set, and his aunt gifted him a pair of new sneakers.

"I really need to thank them later." He muttered.

Then, suddenly, a video-game like blue screen appeared in front of him.
