You and your friends had arrived at a house party of some kid at your school whose parents were gone for the weekend. It wasn't out of the ordinary for him to throw a party. He had one at least once a month his parents always seemed to be gone. But it wasn't just him, most of the kids at the school had parents who would go out of town for work on weekends so there would be a party every weekend. To be honest it was making you sick of partying if that was even possible

aisha: will you hurry up we are late

You: it's not like we are gonna miss anything it's the same each week

Aisha: i feel like this one is different

You rolled your eyes at her attitude not liking it

You: how so

Aisha: i heard that The jeon jungkook was gonna be here

She squealed making you groan

Soyeon: really cause he never comes to these parties

She didn't sound surprised at all. Making you think they were planning something

you: it's just a rumor to get people to show up you know how it is

You paid no attention to the two scheming girls

Aisha: Come on, Jimin's parties are so packed that they fill the house and leak into the back yard. Which is amazing because he has a pool. There would be no need to spread rumors at that point now would there.

You: of course so more girls can swim half naked while guys watch them

Aisha: you are ruining the fun of parties y/n

You: cause i am tired of parties and you know what i don't care for anyone who throws them or goes to them either at this point

aisha: Ouch y/n.

They fake looked offended but they knew this would be your reaction

You: you know what I meant this is all a popularity contest. Why participate

Soyeon: can't you try and have fun

You: no. and I only agreed to an hour

Aisha: come on y/n

You: you're lucky I came at all. I just need to blow off some steam after those exams

Soyeon: and the party will do just the trick. Drink and relax

We continued up his long driveway. People were standing outside drinking and having fun. The music was bumping even out here

You: an hour

Soyeon: we will see

aisha: no one can stay just an hour not possible

Soyeon: y/n is she probably set a timer and everything

You: more like an alarm with a phone ringtone as the sound. I will pretend to pick it up some big emergency and then i will leave

They stopped and looked dead at me

aisha: It's a two day party. your not being serious are you

You: and if i am

Aisha: your such a stick in the mud

You: I know… I was playing about the alarm. If i am leaving i would just leave i don't need to explain myself to anyone

Aisha: it's a 2 day party

You: and I can leave anytime I want. There is no rule saying I have to stay the whole entire time and who does that. What are we gonna do to wake up at 10 in the morning and start drinking again? We will die of alcohol poisoning by 12

You laughed as you entered the house.

Soyeon: There are other things to do, of course we won't be drinking the whole time. And it's just to kick off spring break.

You: right and he threw a party to show he is gonna have a better spring break than anyone else

Soyeon: don't talk about him like that he isn't like that and you know it

we squeezed through half drunk kids grinding on each other and trying to grind on us

Jimin: hey girls what's up

Speaking of the ass. He was drunk already, you could tell in a second. He also smelled like a mix of bourbon cologne and tequila

soyeon: hey jimin

She said shyly and flirtily gave him a side hug while he just nodded to the rest of us. Why does my best friend have to have a crush on him?

Jimin: are you guys just getting here

He sounded a little offended that we showed up late. Which i'm sure means everything to him. Like everyone should follow his every order

aisha: yeah we had a bit of a delay we couldn't get y/n out of the house

He looked at you

Jimin: well y/n your not gonna regret this at all and i have to say i love the outfit very sexy all of really have outdone yourselves

He took a couple of seconds to admire you guys. It made you feel awkward. Soyeon had given you an outfit to wear which was a short gold dress and heels and aisha did your hair and makeup. It was far from your normal appearance.

You: i am gonna go get a drink

Jimin: i will show you-

You: no thanks

You walked away from them. You made it through the huge crowd finally finding the drink table. You poured yourself several shots

?: can you handle all that alcohol

You: can't you mind your own business i am not in the mood or drunk enough to be hit on

You spoke before even looking at who it was

?: what was that

You looked up annoyed that you weren't even here 15 minutes and a drunk was already hitting on you. Jimin's parties were always the worst

You: i said-

But you couldn't finish the sentence because it was jeon jungkook. You know how every school has that one bad boy. And I am not talking about bad boys like the one who hits on all the girls ( that would be jimin) but the one who gets arrested for vandalizing and stealing. The one that fights constantly and everyone is afraid of yet weirdly attracted to as well. That's him. I have never talked to him or even looked at him before this. Anyone who isn't his friends always get hurt

Jungkook: are you gonna finish that sentence or should i wait

He spoke annoyed, making your legs go weak. This was my time to die. He wouldn't hit a girl right. I've never seen him hit a girl. Maybe he will throw a drink on me. Then maybe I could also go home. Someone quickly came and put there arm around him

Taehyung: don't go scaring the girl jungkook

Jungkook: all i said was- you know what nevermind

Taehyung looked at you and smiled. Jungkook has only two friends, Taehyung and jimin. They all grew up together and those are the only two jungkook talks too and hangs around by choice.

Taehyung: y/n your looking good don't you think so jungkook

He looked at you, making you catch your breath.

Jungkook: she doesn't look any different

You didn't know if this was a compliment or insult but it made your heart sink for some reason. Even though he is an asshole

Taehyung: can't you speak more clear

Jungkook: she looks like how you would expect a girl at a party to look. In a dress, heels, hair, and makeup

So I look basic yup what an asshole... you grabbed your drink

You: That's just the look I was going for so thank you. Now if you will excuse me i have to find my friends it could be hard since we all look the same. You know hair dress makeup heels

I walked away. Ugh what an ass

Jungkook pov

I watched as y/n walked away

Taehyung: you could have been nicer

Jungkook: i was being nice i complimented her

Taehyung: You call that a compliment especially after her reaction. you just told her she looks like every other girl in this room that she looks basic average. That was worse than telling her she was ugly. Ugly girls can deal with but average is just something they can't take

Jungkook: well i didn't mean it like that i just meant that she looked like other girls for once

Taehyung: you have much to learn no girl wants to look like other girls. That will never be a compliment to them

He walked away leaving me confused. what had i done wrong
