Chapter 18: A Brewing Storm

The spider evil entered the third building, it would randomly slay a household. 

Tô Thần didn't dare to stay in his room, he chose to accompany Hồng Linh in the elevator. 

"You didn't stop it?" Tô Thần asked Hồng Linh.

Hồng Linh's face was relatively pale due to injury. 

She battled fiercely with the spider evil, Both were wounded. 

"Which floor did it go to?" Tô Thần asked.

Hồng Linh shook her head.

After the fight, it left quickly without a trace. 

"I'm staying in the elevator for a few days. Sure you don't mind?" Tô Thần glanced at Hồng Linh.

Hồng Linh obviously didn't bother, she still relied on Tô Thần to complete her body. 

The spider evil's presence upset his plan, he was scheming carefully another. 

The elevator became the safest place for Tô Thần. 

Murdering the building chiefs would be punished by death by Spring, but killing common households didn't have any consequences. 

The late building chief was pretty unfortunate when encountering a devious person like Tô Thần. 

Tô Thần craved for the chief position because of that protection. 

Tô Thần lowered his head to look at his uniform. 

Common evils wouldn't pose any obstacles for him owing to fear of his boss. 

But red-clothed evils couldn't care less, unless, his boss became Top red-clothed evil. 

Under Hồng Linh's protection, Tô Thần hid in the lift and inspected each household of the 3rd building. 

Swiftly, his eyes stopped at the 502 room. 

There was a huge blood puddle in front of the door. 

Interlaced blood cobwebs covered the entire room. 

"The spider evil took the 502 room."

The 502 room dwelled a family of three people, their total strength wasn't bad, but a red-clothed evil could easily slaughter them. 

One Red-clothed evil could slaughter ten Senior evils effortlessly. 

"It seems that the families of 502 have been harmed."

The spider evil didn't go to the sixth floor because Spring was repairing the room.

Tô Thần could hear his hammer's sound. 

"How about we throw the weeping boy in there like the last time?"

Hồng Linh's words stunned Tô Thần a bit. 

Apparently, Tô Thần successfully spoiled Hồng Linh's mind. 

She learned some devious tricks as well!

"not possible."

"The last crying of the weeping boy could potentially kill it."

"But the spider evil won't let the weeping boy alive until its last attack."

"Speaking of which, can you block the door?" Tô Thần looked at Hồng Linh. 

Hồng Linh stuck out her tongue and said no more.

"But I promise you this building will bury its first red-clothed evil."

Tô Thần's fiercely spoke. 

D-level quest was generously rewarding. 

The Horror world's quests were divided into: Common and Evil quests. 

Common quests ranging from E to SSS level. 

Evil quests were sub-divided into: Special quests, Challenging quests, and Legendary quests. 

Most evil quests were consecutive, the latter was more difficult but more chance to get special items such as Evil organs. 

For example, the special quest - Finding Hồng Linh's head rewarded Tô Thần with an evil organ. 

The sequel quest was completing Hồng Linh's body. 

Tô Thần guessed there was another after finishing the above quest. 

"Silver could be a great card when attacking the spider evil…"

After thinking for a moment, Tô Thần accepted the common E-level quest "slaughter the trespasser"

Tô Thần stared at the 502 room's door.

Hồng Linh's right leg was in the 502 Room. 

He thought retrieving her last leg could go smoothly. 

"so unlucky, why did it choose that room." Tô Thần frowned

Suddenly, someone pressed the lift's button. 

"It's the gatekeeper." Hồng Linh turned towards Tô Thần and said.

So the 601 was repaired. 

The election for floor chief is within a few days.

"It's okay, don't worry." Tô Thần nodded

Spring was harmless as long as people didn't mess with him or his rules. 

The elevator arrived at the sixth floor.

A jacked and gigachad-like man stood in front of the lift, but somehow his vibe was relatively kind. 

After he entered the elevator, the elevator shook once.

"Hello Uncle Spring, I live on the third floor."

"how is the repairing?" Tô Thần inquired.

His back was giant, putting people under so much pressure. 

"Um, it's fixed." his voice, on the other hand, sounded earnest and sincere. 

"Our building chief is dead."

"would you like to hold the election soon?" Tô Thần continued.

Spring nodded: "I will inform all Tower."

Spring was extremely straightforward and concise. He wouldn't say the second phrase if not necessary. 

"Evil quest: obtaining the building chief's position. Accept or not?"

As expected, this quest was an evil quest. 

After quietly accepting, Tô Thần kept silent. 

"Very terrifying." Hồng Linh stared at the back of Spring. 

"It's absolutely terrifying." Tô Thần also stared at the back of Spring. 

Countless red-clothed evils desperately strived for a chance to ascend to top red-clothed evils, but few of them succeeded. 

When Spring left the 3rd floor, Tô Thần also saw Lưu Âm.

Lưu Âm and Spring chatted for a while, probably regarding the election. 

"3 supporters." Tô Thần looked at Lưu Âm's room. 

Lưu Âm brought back 3 evils.

2 senior evils, 1 half-red-clothed evil. 

Tô Thần didn't know how much did it cost Lưu Âm.

But judging from its facial expression, it risked all for the chief's position.
