He realized what he was doing was meaningless, because no matter what he did, the changes he made, nothing mattered, as he would be thrown back in time anyway. So, he deviated from the plot and started to study a variety of things and he didn't care about the fate of the galaxy anymore. In those subsequent loops, he managed to become a master/expert in a lot of things, but the time loop never changed, and the MC started to lose hope of living a normal life. But, after the 9 loop, he felt something different from the other cycles! Perhaps this is his final one? The translation is fine, I've seen a lot of official translated novel but this one is on the better side. The story is good, he's NOT the typical transmigrated mc that got a gift from ROB and arrogantly flaunt it like he earned it. The world setting is from Honkai Impact 3rd. So the lore is pretty deep and there's a lot of way to explore it outside the canon timeline. The characters personalities is also have been retained compared to the original. The mc is not smart guy while he got a good morals but he won't hesitate to end guys that are too far gone in morality. The updating stability is top tier releasing multiple chapters a day so it's very satisfying to read without stopping in the middle of the good parts. Currently the mc already change the canon by meeting important characters when they are a child so don't expect this to 100 percent follow the canon timeline. Also do what you like translator. Personally i like fanfic since there's barely good Honkai Impact 3rd fanfic and i really enjoy it. It's one of the few fanfic i binge read in a day. It's definitely worth to read.
