Let's Invite the Last Warrior!

Editor: Atlas Studios

Krum left the tent in a state of confusion, his mind engaged in a battle between celestial beings and he wondered if he should follow through with the Eye-Disease Charm.

After all, Harry had just used this method!

Also, he did not have his Firebolt with him, so he could not compete with the dragons with his broomstick, as Harry did.

When the two were compared, he would only get the lowest score!

This was something Krum could never accept!

Thus, on the way to the arena, Krum searched his mind for the Dark Arts he had mastered, and finally decided to try something else against the dragon!

Having made his decision, Krum stepped into the enclosure, wand in hand. The Chinese Fireball Dragon stood in the middle of the enclosure, guarding the dragon egg.

This caused Krum to breathe a sigh of relief, and he raised his wand high in the air, murmuring an unintelligible incantation.

The Fireball Dragon also felt threatened, but due to the need to protect the dragon egg, it hesitated and did not go forward. Instead, it roared angrily, trying to drive the annoying wizard away.

The two sides were in a stalemate for about ten seconds before Krum finished his cryptic incantation. A large amount of black mist surged out and condensed into a large Reunion Ball that shot out of his wand and crashed into the Fireball Dragon.

With a violent explosion, the Fireball Dragon roared in pain, and the black mist quickly corroded its scales like the strongest acid…

Krum's lips also curled into a smile, but it lasted only a few seconds before it turned into alarm.

This was because the roaring Fireball Dragon abandoned its egg and charged at him crazily!

Krum's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. He only had time to cast an Armor Charm on himself before he was sent flying by the dragon's claw. His body landed heavily on the ground and rolled a dozen times before stopping.

The sudden turn of events frightened the young wizards and witches in the audience, causing them to scream and scream. Some even suspected that Krum had been killed by the dragon.

The surrounding Dragon Tamers were also shocked. They immediately wanted to rush forward to save the day!

However, it was too late. The dragon, irritated by the attack, had once again charged at Krum, its fangs as sharp as polished daggers.

"Fluorescence! (Bulgarian)!" Krum, who was nearly killed by the attack, clutched his chest and shouted in a hoarse voice.

Blinding light blinded the Chinese Fireball Dragon for a moment.

Krum forced himself to his feet, and the first thing he did was run towards the nest, shouting in poor English.

"The game continues!"

The Dragon tamers hesitated, unsure whether to comply or not. In their opinion, the situation was out of control!

The momentary blindness caused by the illumination spell only lasted for a second or so before the Fireball Dragon regained its sight and rampaged through the arena even more violently.

Krum anxiously tried to think of a solution — he needed a broom, or he would die trying to get his hands on the dragon egg!

However, he did not bring his Firebolt with him…

The dragon's roar drew closer, and Krum had a premonition of death, but then he had an idea and turned to look at the exit of the arena — where there was a broomstick!

"Firebolt!" Krum shouted, waving his wand in the last of his hope.

One second, two seconds…and still nothing on the field.

Krum thought about it a lot at that moment. He was angry and helpless. If he put himself in Krum's shoes, he might not want to save a competitor.

A huge fireball shot out of the dragon's mouth and crashed into Krum.

Krum's hair stood on end in the light of the fire, and just as he was about to admit defeat and ask for help, something long and stick-like flew over from the horizon.

It was a Firebolt!

Krum had no time to celebrate. He jumped up, grabbed the Firebolt's rod, and mounted it. With extraordinary speed, he avoided the impact of the fireball and headed straight for the dragon nest!

Furious, the dragon spat dragon breath after dragon breath behind him, but Krum dodged all of them. He turned around and picked up the golden egg, raising it high in the air, indicating that he had finished the match!

The dragon tamers rushed to calm the mother dragon, and the young wizards around her breathed a sigh of relief.

"Disgraceful behaviour, Durmstrang's Krum, copying Mr Potter's method of dealing with dragons… It's cheating, he must have been watching the match!" Bagman, the commentator, did not give Krum any face, his sharp words echoing through the paddock through a loudspeaker.

A large number of young wizards agreed with Bagman and accused Krum of being shameless, but Krum's loyal fans defended him … after all, there was no clear rule in the game that champions could not pass by a similar method!

Krum was too ashamed to remain on the field after winning the dragon egg, and quickly left the stage in disgrace.

Bagman cleared his throat and announced loudly, "All right, let's have the last of the champions!"

The crowd turned to look at the entrance to the paddock, where a small blond wizard in Gryffindor robes was entering.

Unlike the other champions, he did not have a nervous, worried look on his face, only a calm, collected air.

The moment Ivan stepped into the enclosure, the audience erupted in cheers.

Numerous young wizards shouted his name, waving flags that read "Hero of Gryffindor" or "Star of Hogwarts" in gold letters.

Ivan looked around politely and nodded at the crowd. He also noticed that his friends were cheering him on and Luna waved at him.

Back on the stage, Bagman was still talking. He pointed to the centre of the enclosure and solemnly introduced Ivan's opponents.

"The fourth champion is up against a Norwegian Ridgeback! I can tell you in no uncertain terms that this is the wisest and most threatening of the four dragons! Let's look forward to the performance of Hales…"
