Hinata Moves To Seijoh

It was afternoon practice on a Friday at Karasuno High and the volleyball club were training.

As they were Hinata wanted to practice with Suga instead but the whole team just looked at him and blinked. "You wanna practice with someone who isn't Kageyama? Very funny Hinata. But you can barely do anything without him. You're only good because he's so good." Daichi says and Hinata blinked.

He'd had enough! Everyone telling him he was nothing without Kageyama! He could be amazing without kageyama!

Hinata's eyes started to well up but he looked down and pretended his phone went off. "My dad needs me to pick up natsu." He lies and grabs his bag, heading out as everyone just nodded.

Hinata often had to leave to get natsu. But they didn't know he was lying because he was crying. He was always lying because he was crying.

He ran all the way home. Tears pouring down his cheeks as he ran.

He then ran straight into the house and he heard his dad say hello and he just ran to him, hugging him tightly.

The man just looked at his son and his heart shattered. This was the 3rd time in last two weeks Hinata had come home crying and he'd had enough.

"Shoyo. Honey. Listen to me. The way they're treating you isn't okay. I'm transferring you to my school, if that's okay with you." His dad said and Hinata just looked up at him for a moment.

"D-Do you have a volleyball club that I'll be able to prove I'm worth it?" Hinata asks as he wipes his tears and his dad chuckles.

"Yes we do. It's a pretty good team actually. I'm sure you'll fit in fine. What do you think?" He asks and Hinata just nods and hugs his dad again.

"Thanks dad. You're amazing." He says through sniffles as he smiles and his dad chuckles.

"They have practice tomorrow morning since they have Friday afternoons off and practice Saturday mornings. Would you like me to take you while I sort out your paperwork and you can meet them?" He asks and Hinata's eyes sparkle and he nods.

"I'd love to! Thank you dad." He says as he rubs his nose and goes up to his room.

His dad smiles. "You'll fit in perfectly I assure you. The whole team hate Kageyama as well." He says to himself with a chuckle as he goes to start sorting his sons transfer paperwork.

Once Hinata reached his room his phone buzzed and he noticed it was from Tsukishima. The two acted like they hated each other but they often talked about how they hated being told they were nothing or didn't work hard enough.

He sat on his bed and opened his messages.

𝚂𝚊𝚕𝚝𝚢𝚂𝚑𝚒𝚖𝚊:

Hey. Are you okay Shoyo. No one else noticed this tears. But that's the 3rd time I've seen them recently. Is everything okay?

𝚃𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚎:

Hey Tsukishima. N-No. Nothing is okay. They're hurting me too much so my dad.. is transferring me..

There was a pause for a few minutes before the other replied.

𝚂𝚊𝚕𝚝𝚢𝚂𝚑𝚒𝚖𝚊:

I understand. It's probably for the best. I'm being transferred in a few weeks as well. I didn't know how to tell you.

Hinata smiled in relief. They would both be okay.

𝚃𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚎:

So we will both be okay? I'm moving to my dads school. He's the principal. I think it's called Seijoh? Not heard of a team under that name tho.

Tsukishima tilts his head. Seijoh was home to Aoba Johsai. Did Hinata not know this. He then went to tell him but paused. Maybe it would be better if he found out on his own. I mean he would fit in well with them.

𝚂𝚊𝚕𝚝𝚢𝚂𝚑𝚒𝚖𝚊:

Oh nice. I haven't either. My mum got a job in Tokyo. So I'm moving to.. Nekoma.

Hinata's eyes widened. He'd do so well at Nekoma!

𝚃𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚎:

You'll do so well at Nekoma good for you Tsukishima! Anyway I need to sleep. I'm going to see what my new school's volleyball team is like in morning!

𝚂𝚊𝚕𝚝𝚢𝚂𝚑𝚒𝚖𝚊:

Night Shoyo.

Hinata smiled and puffed his phone in before drifting off to sleep.

Hinata woke up at 6:30 on Saturday morning and yawned before stretching.

He could smell in the air. "PANCAKES!" He yelled as he jumped out of bed and ran down the stairs to see his dad making pancakes.

"Morning Shoyo. You excited to meet your new team today?" He asks and Hinata nods as his dad chuckles and gives him a plate of warm pancakes.

Hinata begins to eat them as his dad makes a few for himself before putting the mix in the fridge for natsu and his wife since he wanted them to be able to sleep in.

He then sat down with Hinata and ate.

Once they'd both finished Hinata's dad grabbed a box from the side and placed it in front of Hinata. "This is a uniform and a practice kit." He says and Hinata nods excitedly.

He opens the box and pulls out the practice kit. It was dark blue and white and he smiled.

"I'll go and change then are we going?" Hinata asks and his dad nods.

Once Hinata is changed the two get in the car and Hinata's dad drives them to Seijoh.

When they arrived Hinata smiled excitedly and his dad chuckled.

"I'll be heading to the office to talk with the gouvonours. And then I'll head home. Feel free to spend the day with your new team okay?" He says as he pulls up into his parking spot and sees a light blue car and he chuckles. Good to know the team were there already.

He finished parking and the two got out.

Hinata and his dad then walked to the gym and Hinata's dad smiled. "Wait here." He says as he opens the doors and steps inside.

As he does everyone turns to him. "Me. Principle! What brings you here?" A voice asks and he chuckles.

"My son will be a transfer student here from Monday and he plays a lot of volleyball." He then says quietly. "And I think you all might know him." Before then speaking normally again. "And he's very good at volleyball and I was hoping maybe you could try him out for the team?" He asks and the captain looks at him confused but nods.

"Sure Mr Principle. Send him in." The captain says and he nods.

He then leaves and hugs Hinata. "I'll see you later Shoyo. Now go and meet your new team." He says and walks into the school.

Hinata takes a deep breath before opening the doors and walking inside.

The doors close behind him and he can feel eyes on him. "CHIBI-CHAN?!" He hears a familiar voice and Hinata looks up.

"Grand King?! Your team is the volleyball club at my new school?!" He asks in shock and everyone just looks at Hinata in shock.

Wondering why he'd want to move until everyone looks to each other and catches on.

"Oh you poor thing. Caught in the kings shadow?" Oikawa asks and Hinata nods slowly.

He's then picked up by Iwaizumi and he squeaks.

"You'll fit right in with us then Shoyo." He says with a chuckle and the whole team nod in agreement.

"Any volleyball player to transfer due to kageyama gets an instant spot on our team." Iwaizumi says Ashe carries Hinata over who is giggling now.

"Thanks Iwaizumi!" He says with a smile and the other puts him down and ruffles his hair.

But there was still one question. "Hinata. But weren't you. Dating kageyama?" Kunimi asks and everyone tilts their heads.

Hinata looks down and a tear falls from his eye. That was the other reason he was happy about transferring. That was the other reason him and Tsukishima became so close.

"We were.. until he cheated on me a few weeks ago with Yamaguchi.." He says and their hearts break. Who could break a tangerines heart.

"Yamaguchi. Wasn't he with that bean pole. What about him?" Oikawa asks and Hinata smiles softly.

"Tsuki is moving to Nekoma in a few weeks." He says and Oikawa nods.

He then hugs Hinata tightly.

"Welcome to our team and our school chibi-chan. We'll take good care of you." Oikawa says and Hinata smiles as they all begin playing volleyball together. Hinata being the living proof that he can be so much without Kageyama.

Hit hit all of Oikawa's sets perfectly, not missing a single one and after practice Oikawa smiled.

"You wanna come to mine for lunch. Usually we meet at one of the teams houses after practice on a Saturday. You wanna tag along since you're on our team now?" Oikawa asks and Hinata nods while smiling.

Oikawa picks him up and chuckles. "Iwa-chan! Your on driving duty!" He yells and Iwaizumi sighs but nods.

They all make their way to Oikawa's car and Hinata gets pulled into Oikawa's lap for the journey.

"I can't wait for you to be apart of our team, and watch Kageyama's face as we crush him." Oikawa says with a smirk.
