She's falling harder. Zella knew the feeling wasn't foreign, and it was a default. Since they have been married for a long time, the spark must be wearing off, but it was the exact opposite. Zella's heart sting whenever he's away, and when the mattress beside her was cold, she already panicked.
No matter how she tried to convince that Leo can stand on her own, Zella wanted to carry him on her back like he's a year-old kid.
Zella haven't understoond what it meant, but whenever her heart speaks those words, she only saw Leo and nothing else. She swallowed, anticipating every statement he gives to assure her she's the only one.
"You were the best comfort I've ever slept on for a day. And when the nights are cold, I'd want to hug you tight as if it's the only thing I am capable to do in my life," Leo indicated. He held her waist tightly. Leo tugged her closer, and she didn't budge.
