The New Owner

"Using Aiden's power to defeat Imel. Is that my goal? Or your goal?" Esther asked, looking at Anya.

Anya's face looked a little wobbly. She knew she couldn't hide this from Esther because it was true what Esther said. She was the one who wanted to bring down Imel. She wanted to destroy Imel just like when Imel destroyed her mother.

But Anya didn't have enough power to do that now. She desperately needed Esther's help. Esther could endure years of resistance from Imel and it was not something easy to do.

"Miss Esther, can you reconsider? I will listen to all your decisions for the Rose Scent." Anya's voice was low and sounded a little begging.

Esther narrowed her eyes, seemingly hesitating about Anya's offer, "What is your relationship with Aiden? I need to know your relationship to make sure what Aiden can do for you."

Anya didn't say anything. Instead, she took out her cell phone and showed Esther a photo.
