MORE THAN WORDS
Rose was the middle child among five children, and she always had a good impression of her parents' raising them without any serious problems. She hoped someday, with her boyfriend, she could follow their journey and teach her future kids what she learned from them. She was passionate about having to picture her future with the love of her life, but then came her former lover, who was unsure of her boyfriend's agenda and trying to get her out of the shame it may have caused her. Although her former lover and friend were good to her, she does not see anything wrong with her boyfriend. When it emigrated and she was alone again, what he said before came back to her when rumors began to circulate in the area.She meets her boyfriend and finds out that he impregnated her best friend. From the very start, he was already cheating on Rose. Unable to find the words to say, Rose punched him and hastily drove away from where he was. She thinks that all the people she loves always abandon her, that no matter how much she loves them, they reject her and fade away without a word. Rose promised herself that she'd never trust anyone or any guy again just because she knew they would never stay as she anticipated. She worked at a hotel and later found out about an unplanned pregnancy with her ex-boyfriend, and because of great shame, she decided to hide it from her family until her job from day-to-day could no longer cover the lie. Rose told her parents and they were dismayed and embarrassed about what she did. She didn't have the support she should've had in the first place. After the pregnancy problems were settled, Rose came back to her old job and soon had her child to be her new inspiration. And though her life changed and became more undeniably successful, she could only think about what her life would become if she ever found a "Dad" for her son, completing her dreamy family. But it was only in her dreams. Rose's boss wanted her to attend a function at a resort where she could not only do her job but also enjoy the benefits of her work.She saw a guy who had always been captured by her camera shots and she could not fathom why. Upon learning of his whereabouts, she finds it very hard to communicate with him, who is just silently getting some cozy alone time on the hotel balcony. After her successful function, she and her new friends went for a drink at a bar inside the hotel, where the guy appeared in front of them holding his guitar and congratulating her for what she'd done. She thanked him for the song and the drinks, but she was unable to speak to him about her feelings, afraid that he might reject her and she might sound more desperate for him. She had the feeling of regret for the opportunity that she had taken for granted until an email was sent to her from him. The guy introduced himself as Robert, a British car developer who was visiting the Philippines for a short vacation. He was interested in Rose as she could feel it with his words. Although it was harder for them to communicate through emails, she managed to find ways to bring him into the modern world. Years have passed since they started sending emails to each other, and Robert admits his admiration for Rose. She felt the same even before they were exchanging letters with each other, and so, they made it official. Robert's visit to formally ask her to be his girlfriend was not expected. They both ended up having a long-distance relationship because of different timelines and hectic schedules, but when he proposed to Rose, she undoubtedly said yes. Their long-distance relationship was eventually challenged after Robert stopped sending her messages and was not able to attend any of her special gatherings. She thought that maybe Robert was not the one for her, but she was willing to fight for it no matter what. Until a message came that shook them all up, as she was asked if she'd chosen him or not.
