His body laid there – unresponsive, joints aching by the mere thought of simply moving them, as though they were being disturbed from an eternal slumber that they had no say in but didn't intend of waking up from.

It ached. The exhausting psychological warfare that was occurring between that of his mind and body, was actively draining him.
